The location was perfect for our family members who came from Banbury, Oxford and Bristol. The parking was very good and the hot tub was fantastic. The accommodation was far more spacious than expected and having three bed rooms and three bathrooms was brilliant. It was lovely and warm, very comfortable and quiet.

If I were nit picking. Some of the pans weren't compatible with the induction hob.

Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing overall. While the property itself was reasonably well equipped, particularly the kitchen, there were several issues that significantly affected the experience. The property was very warm throughout our stay, and it was difficult to achieve any meaningful airflow to cool it down. Cleanliness was also below the standard I would expect, with a number of areas appearing to have been overlooked. The internet connection was poor. It was sufficient for basic messaging, but not reliable enough for streaming services on the television, which relied entirely on Wi-Fi. As I needed internet access for both work and leisure, this proved particularly frustrating. The stay also felt quite impersonal. On arrival, it was unclear where we were supposed to go, and there were no staff available to greet us or explain the facilities. When I called for assistance, the response felt abrupt and unwelcoming. Given that the owners live on-site, a brief welcome and introduction to the property would have made a significant difference. To their credit, they did offer us a move to another property with a hot tub at no additional cost. While appreciated, this was largely in response to the issues we had already encountered. In truth, the only welcoming reception we received upon arrival came from the dog that ran up to the car. Overall, although the property has some positive features, particularly its facilities, the lack of cleanliness, poor Wi-Fi, uncomfortable temperature, and impersonal service mean that I would not choose to stay here again.
