About this farm stay rental
A country farmhouse, situated in Gascony, in the middle of the Lomagne Canton, near the hill-top village of L’Isle Bouzon. Dating from the middle of the 18th century, this rustic residence consists of a main house and an annexe and has been restored with all modern comforts, but keeping the charm of old features for more authenticity. It is a true haven of peace with its enchanting country house -style garden (2.5 acres of land), with over 350 scents, its orchard, its 40-plus rose bushes and a variety of aromatic plants.
It is the ideal place for nature lovers, searching for tranquillity. In the surroundings, you can visit some beautiful villages that occupy this hilly region, amongst others: Lectoure, a thermal and fortified town, La Romieu with its cloister and the famous St Jacques de Compostello walk, St Clar with its leisure centre and its parties in the 13th century hall, and Fleurance with its peasant market. Activities are plentiful such as walking, swimming, mountain biking, golf, typical Gascony evenings and village parties and even balloon rides.
The house itself contains a large main bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and donwstairs a second bedroom with an adjoining bathroom, a large main room with comfortable seating, a kitchen, a library, a conservatory and a partly-covered outdoor area, which is perfect for hot summer evenings with a fantastic view of the local village.
The main house can accommodate four people maximum (one infant is possible as a cot is available).
Lets are from Saturday to Saturday.

TV, BBQ, washing machine, WIFI, family games, Ping Pong table and a fully equipped kitchen.
