A few km from St Clar, Fleurance and Lectoure, the Burguères cottage is located in the heart of the Lomagne Gersoise sometimes called the golden triangle of French Tuscany.
Located in a farm of the 18th century this cottage has been completely renovated and thought to make a quiet and serene place. At the raw harshness of stone and oak we married the softness of plaster and lime with forgotten hues and the modernity of polished concrete and pebbles.
The simplicity and kindness of the Gascon welcome will do the rest and allow everyone to find a certain sweetness of life.

This property and its grounds really are as attractive as shown in the photographs . The owner Bruno has done a first class job at restoring the rural charm of his traditional stone house. Although he lives next door, we had total privacy, except for the times he brought round much welcome vegetables and herbs from his garden. Nothing was too much trouble.
The location overall is so tranquil it’s easy to de-stress almost immediately - we felt we’d never slept better. There’s plenty to see and do in the neighbouring towns and villages, especially if you like browsing markets, taking a coffee etc. The nearest supermarket is c. five minutes drive away and has all you need. Or you can simply enjoy the grounds, read a book, or swim in the lake below.
A thoroughly enjoyable week and a highly recommended gite.

The gite exceeded our expectations and Bruno was an amazing host/neighbour who made sure our stay was everything we wanted.
The property is lovely and was really cool during a very hot August. The gardens offered cool shade and a plenty full supply of fresh fruit. And then there was the lake which was just gorgeous. Just so good in so many ways....we will back 😊

Beautiful, calm, rural setting. Large garden which was wonderful for our grandchildren aged 4 and 18 months who had the freedom to roam safely but adventurously. Our host was friendly, helpful and interesting and the conversion he has painstakingly done to this property was wonderful in its simplicity.
The local village of St Clar, had all you could need and we didn’t feel a need to venture further afield at all.
I would totally recommend anyone to stay here.

Que dire.... nous avons passé un trés bon séjour , tout était super comme le souligne mes enfants ( 15, 13 et 9 ans), l'accueil , le logement , l'environnement oublier les chiens et les poules qui ont vu naitre une vocation de fermier chez notre fils. Une adresse que l'on voudrait garder pour soi tellement on était bien.... Un grand merci à nos hôtes pour leur accueil et leurs conseils.....
