Nice Room with Excellent Food, Friendly Staff and Great Breakfast!

Nice room (Dolly) with a good view over the Llamas paddock, would have been good to have had at least One seat in the room - not a big fan of sitting on the bed but had a comfortable nights sleep. The bathroom had the luxury of a shower over a nice bath as at home we only have a wet room due to my husband being disabled - so I had the pleasure of a nice soak :-)! We eat in the restaurant and the Staff were excellent and the Food also exceptional good and with it being a Wednesday we enjoyed the Grill offer of 2 for £39.00! Breakfast also served in the restaurant was good quality and service very good. Definitely be back soon :-)

Only complaint I had was that there was not a door handle on the outside of the bathroom door otherwise we had a Lovely stopover in a warm and friendly B & B.

Top quality Hotel and Pub.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. Hotel was modern, very clean, comfortable and quite luxurious. Pub attached served very nice meals. The evening meal and breakfast were excellent. The pub itself was lovely.

Amazing one night stay! Breakfast was included in the price which was so affordable but also top quality. The rooms were so clean and had everything you would need. The food was also amazing - would definitely return.

We had a very pleasant stay here and would thoroughly recommend.

It was nicely decorated and warm and the bed was very comfortable. The food we had was all delicious and the pub/ dining area was lovely and welcoming.

There was a kitchen extractor outside the bedroom window which was very noisy during food service hours.

Good value

The room was spacious enough . Good quality products left in the room . Fresh white towels comfortable bed . Friendly staff at breakfast . Fantastic choice of items to choose from and all good quality had dinner with the family . Excellent service all came out together and on time . Overall good value for money . Good selection of beers and drinks at reasonable prices .

Room was very cold on arrival . Having to go outside to a side entrance to enter the room . Extremely noisy fans until 11.30pm at night even though on checking in was assured the fans went off at 9.30pm . They then came back on at 7am . So hard to fall asleep. Second night they did go off slightly earlier . Toilet in our room moved when you sat down . Toilet roll had no holder so had to leave on the floor . The window sill and sink in the bathroom needs some attention as mould present . The little chair in the room was slightly wobbly .

Lovely cosy pub with compact but clean and comfortable accommodation and first class breakfast

Lovely cosy pub with great food and the room in the Annex was very clean and comfy with little luxury toiletries. Very friendly staff. Had a very yummy evening meal and breakfast. Would definitely stay there again

The even meal not mention the service charge Full cooked breakfast was lovely but the bread briwn was goid quality. Stood on the plate middle with the better which when I removed to side with heat of meal runney could not use. When I arrived very busy but no welcome at the bar not good for paying guests staff just walked away to service other customers possibly local The lad using the coffee nachibe behind bar vould have said welcome they will ve with you soon

Very good, comfortable pub with rooms.

This is the second time we have stayed at The Saracens Head, to attend family occasions in the area. The rooms are quite spacious, very comfortable and spotlessly clean with good quality (White Company) complimentary toiletries. Bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.

Although there were coat hooks, there were no coat hangers. A few coat hangers would have been good.

A lovely pub

Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Nothing felt like too much trouble for them. Food was very good and well presented.

To access your accommodation you had to walk out of the pub and down the side of the building.

If you can sleep through any noise, you'll be ok - if not, I would avoid.

Food was good. In general, the cleanliness was decent.

On arrival, the room was roasting hot, turned off the heating and opened the window to let in fresh air. Room was located at the rear above the kitchen and the constant 'burring' noise from the extractor fan was extremely annoying. Had to close window, to dim out the noise - put the fan on, but all it did was blow the hot air around and make a noise, making it difficult to sleep.

Noisy but nice pub in Staffordshirec

Pleasant staff, but the younger ones needed more experience. The pub was well modernised The food was excellent. My room at the rear of the building was peaceful. The whole place was clean and in good repair

The bar area, by the front door, was very noisy due to a group of about six lads who insisted on shouting at each other to converse. It really spoilt the ambiance of the place, and I asked to be moved to another table, at the other end of the restaurant.

We were so looking forward to the Sunday roast dinner that we had seen going out at lunchtime. We were booked in but were told they were sold out of all their roasts and some other things. Very disappointed

Easy to find, plenty of parking. A really warm welcome and a light comfortable room with everything I needed. The pub was lovely and busy even though it was a Monday. Food was well cooked and the breakfast was a treat.

It is a nice hotel. There was a heatwave and they supplied an electric fan. The Lama's in the paddock were lovely to look at.

I went during a heatwave,my room was stifling hot. they did supply an electric fan but all it did was move the hot air around.

The staff are AAA+++ , Full English is one of the best I have eaten . Plenty of coffee etc + soaps etc

Stayed in " Ginger" needs light over coffee prep area very dark in that area .
