Cheap, cheap, and questionable hygiene.

Unfortunately we had to find last minute accommodation near the airport and this was an available option. Regardless the cheap price, I just hope we didn’t catch any… The facilities and the cleaning were basic…to say the least!

Don’t bother - ibis is up the road

I got to the property- the receptionist didn’t/ wouldn’t open the security gate . A guest opened it for me , after 40 minutes. The receptionist could clearly of known I was there , as the security monitor was pointing exactly where I was pressing the bell . It then took a further hour for her to check me in , she had no idea how to use the computer. They could t find the key for my room , I ended up in another one , with food left in the fridge.

Short, but decent

The staff was very helpful for assisting with my delayed check-in due to severe traffic. They messaged me the gate code through WhatsApp and since I was really late, they even left the key to my room so I can just go directly to quickly rest for my early morning flight. The check-in and check-out process was all done on their end.

I wish the WIFI was working when I was there. The shower head was pointed towards the wall for my room, making showering kind of difficult. I was worried about damaging it if I tried to move it. The room didn't have shampoo or body wash/soap for showering, which would have been nice.

I would not stay there anymore

The place outside and inside was clean. But the bed sheet was yellow.

The pillow case was also yellow and the blanket did not seem pleaseure to use it. I slept with my jacket. The smell of the apt was not pleasant neither.

Everything about the place was great even above in some areas.. Including having a language barrier..

The water was basically there to drink .. And flush urine.. First shower was scolding hot.. I figured that out.. After that.. There was absolutely no water pressure.. Did not attempt washing hair .. It would have not rinsed the soap off.. I would return.. But not with someone less forgiving.. Obligato!! Kyle

Everything was fine, we stayed for one night only and it was clean and the employees were friendly!

The room had everything we needed! We only stayed one night because it was near the airport. Not sure how safe the neighbourhood is at night but we felt save in the room and the employees were very friendly!

The close distance to the airport after a 12 hour flight. So close that taxi drivers were'nt even interested 😄 And ofcourse the very helpful and friendly staff. Just cross the street for well known fast food.

The location is pretty distant form most sightseeings. Leaving earlier in the day isn't a problem but after being on the road, a half hour (without traffic jam) bus ride back is not that pleasant. If not on a budget a taxi or rental car is comfortable but still the traffic would be a challenge.

The staff is very kind and helpful. The location is great for a one-night stay, close to the airport, about 10 minutes away. The room was clean and looked exactly like the pictures .The terrace area has a nice view.

There's not much around the hostel, and the stores close early. I got there around 8 pm and everything was closed. Besides that, I highly recommend it if you need to stay close to the GIG airport.

Great place near the GIG airport especially good for early departures.

Super nice staff... met us and helped us with the luggage. Offered us coffee but it was too late for us so they gave us tea. We had a very early flight so they gave us coffee at 5AM! And the uber to the airport only took about 15 minutes so everything worked wonderful. We had stayed in Rio de Janeiro for 9 days before and wanted a place close to tha airport.

Not their fault but the macdonalds across the street was not open early in the morning.
