Bijzondere B&B in hartje van de stad. Fijn dat de auto veilig kon worden geparkeerd al was het wel wat passen en meten op de kleine binnenplaats. Met veel zorg ingericht authentiek huis. Behulpzame host. Geeft veel tips over de omgeving. Lekker ontbijt.

Charming, historic manor house, just above Place de la Republique. Pierre-Henri is so knowledgeable about Sarlat and all the history of this home. He took 20 mins or more when I arrived to give me a tour of the property and told me so much about the history. He has maps and provided me with great tips about where to park at certain prime sights saving me a lot of time and walking, which was very helpful for my arthritic knees. My room was huge either multiple beds and gorgeous furnishings. If sleek and modern is your preference, this is not the place, but if you want character, lovely art, maps, books galore, and very friendly and knowledgeable hosts, book here! It made my first visit to Dordogne and Sarlat all the more memorable. They provided a gluten free breakfast for me in the charming dining salon. The reason I selected this property was the rare and highly desirable parking space right in Sarlat. Pierre-Henri guided me or drove my car himself to navigate the tight space. I would DEFINITELY stay here again on any future trip.

I only wish I had booked early enough to have the room overlooking the town and Place de la Republique.

Fantastic location

Felt rather run down. No aircon, which was a significant negative on the hottest day of the year. However, not unbearable as the house is old and cool.
