Lyon is a fantastic city to visit, you will enjoy the sites and the food. Sophie's Loft is very convenient for the bus, tram and metro. Sophie is an excellent host and I am sure you will enjoy your visit.

The apartment was charming, just as described. I stayed with my husband and 2 children ages 10 and 13 for 2 nights. It was July and quite warm. There was one fan and it was very important for sleeping. Decent grocery store nearby and a wonderful fromagerie.

Convenient location and friendly owner. We visited Lyon to attend a conference at the university. Public transportation and grocery shopping were a few blocks away. The loft area was nice, but watch your head getting out of bed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-day visit to Lyon in Sophies cute loft apartment. Everything is well thought out for comfort - the beds, fully-equipped kitchen, the living space and the lovely terrace for relaxing. Sophie was easy to work with and quick to respond. She greeted us warmly and gave us some suggestions for our visit, along with a map and directions to sites and public transportation. The loft is only a 10 minute walk from the tram stop at Reconnaissance-Balzac; about a 15 minute walk to the Metro stop at Grange-Blanche which takes you straight into the heart of the old town. The Lyon City Card is definitely worth buying, since all public transportation, many tours, and most museums are free with the card. A small grocery store, Carrefour, is just a few blocks away from the loft on Rue Louise, and is open late. Theres so much to see in Lyon! Sophie was a gracious hostess.

Enjoyed our stay even though it was very short. Hosts were very friendly and obliging, organising a uber to the station. Unit was well equipped. The terrace was a bonus. The steps to the bedroom were steep but manageable. Would return there when in Lyon.

Madame Sophie and her husband were wonderful! This location was perfect for our visit to Lyon.The apartment was clean and well equipped. A lovely terrace garden allowed us to unwind from our busy day. From the train station we boarded a tram to Reconnaissance Balzac and walked about 10 minutes south to Jeanne D'Arc, it is less than a 10 walk to Place Henri bus stop. Moments from a small grocery store. We took a leisurely walk to Lumiere Museum. A wonderful open air market was there on Thursdays. Hop on the Metro to Old Lyon and Funicular. Don't forget to catch the murals in this area! I would definitely stay here again.

This has been by far one of my best experiences with VRBO. The apartment is lovely, perfectly appointed and in a great location. The tram and Metro are very close and it was so nice to have the proprietors next door to address any questions. There was a great local market on Saturday and the Sophie even found a great place for me to get my haircut!!! Old Lyon and a little village named Perogues are must sees!!! Don't miss Lyon if you are a foodie and be sure to stay with Sophie and Alain! They are perfect hosts!! I can't wait to get back!!

Liegt im Stadtteil Montchat mit kurzläufigen Wegen zur Bus–, Tram- oder Metrohaltestelle. Supermarkt, Bäcker, Metzger und weitere Geschäfte nur 3 - 4 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Konnten das Auto 1 Woche lang stehen lassen und waren mit dem Fahrrad (sehr fahrradfreundliche Stadt) oder ÖPNV unterwegs. Können die Unterkunft somit nur empfehlen. Einen besonderen Dank an die Gastgeberin - Merci Sophie

Ein geschmackvoll eingerichtetes, modernes Appartement mit genug Platz in einer sehr ruhigen Umgebung. Sophie war sehr hilfbereit und hat uns gute Restaurants für unser Silvester-Menü empfohlen. Das Viertel Monchat ist sehr hübsch, fast wie eine kleine Sadt innerhalb von Lyon, mit allem an Geschäften (Bäcker, Metzger, Markt, Weinhändler) und auch Gastronomie in der Nähe. Man kommt sehr gut mit der Metro oder dem Bus in die Innenstadt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

C'est la seconde fois que nous séjournons dans cet adorable loft. Idéalement situé au calme à deux pas du centre de Lyon en voiture, transports et supérette pour effectuer quelques courses. La propriétaire du loft est une dame absolument charmant qui fait tout pour que l'on se sente chez soi. Merci encore pour l'accueil et la disponibilité. Nous y reviendrons.

Cette jolie petite maison de ville est tres chaleureuse, propre, et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Il ne manque rien (même le café est fourni). La literie est juste géniale !! Bref, nous avons vraiment apprécié ce court séjour en compagnie de nos trois malinois. Merci Madame Grandne de nous avoir fait confiance. C'est tellement difficile pour nous de trouver une location où les grands chiens sont acceptés..... Merci merci
