The apartment appears to be a scam or at the very least highly misleading
Nothing.
It already starts with the check-in process: first, you have to upload the front and back of an ID, then a selfie, and after that, you’re forced to either choose a €300 deposit or pay an extra €20. If you don’t do this, you won’t receive an access code. The hallway leading to the apartment is dirty. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work, and neither does the TV. There are no hooks anywhere in the apartment to hang anything. In the bedroom, there’s a wardrobe with no usable shelves or hanging space. The pillowcases are covered in black stains. There are large dried vomit stains on the floor in front of the bed. The non-stick coating in the pans is peeling off. It’s extremely noisy, with people shouting until the middle of the night. There’s only one fork, one teaspoon, and one glass, even though the apartment is meant for four people. There’s no tea towel, hand towel, or dishcloth. There’s a list of charges if anything is damaged, meaning if an electrical appliance breaks during your stay, you have to pay for it?! We asked the owner to resolve the above issues. The only response we received was that she finds it unfortunate and will “discuss it”... We have since filed a complaint with Booking because we’re unable to get in touch with the owner in any way. To our surprise, just a few minutes after checking out, an online review appeared under my name in French with a rating of 10. So they’re also committing identity fraud.
