Beautiful views from the balcony, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast. Staff were very helpful in organising taxis and trips, and restaurant recommendations.

A tiny bit up the hill in a residential area so at night better to take a taxi back from the center (3min drive)

In the town there are a lot of dogs, but near the hotel there were not so many.

The room and bathroom, same as whole hotel are clean, rooms are quite atmospheric. Breakfast was OK, especially that it was coupled with a fantastic view from the terrace. Service was fine, though not falling over their heads to be helpful, especially when compared with other places I stayed in Cape Verde. The location is fine, close to the centre, though some walking uphill when coming from downtown.
On the second night of my stay there was an onslaught of mosquitoes. Windows were open all the time as there was no AC, only an electric fan and nobody has warned about the mosquitoes, so I had an unpleasant night. And yes, do not forget earplugs, it is noisy there: dogs and music from the neighbourhood.
