The Old Chapel Cottage

It was as described. I really liked that there were 2 toilets. The dining room was a lovely size complete with dining table. The kitchenette with hob and microwave was perfect for a 2 night stay. The location is 10 mins from Leighton Buzzard in a really pretty and quiet village

The wooden and tiled floors whilst lovely were very cold underfoot. Because it's May, the central heating had been turned off for summer so the rooms were very chilly in the evenings and the heater on the wall just inside the door was too high up to efficiently heat the rooms. However, we contacted our lovely host and she provided a portable heater to have in the sitting room. The main light in the sitting room is on a movement sensor and wouldn't turn off until after a long time. This was annoying as after a long day we wanted to relax with the 2 lamps not a bright ceiling light.

Nothing not to like really, the only thing I’d say is the light that is on a sensor for the bathroom could be timed to come on longer as it only stays on for approximately 5 minutes which is not long enough for a shower in the dark evenings. All added to the fun of the break though.

It was good for what we needed as visiting family in haughton conquest .
