I am a single mum travelling with 3 children aged 12, 10 & 8. The property was very easy to find. There is gated parking at the property or right outside on the community road (which I used). There are a few pools (even on the beach) and tennis court. The property is meters from a beautiful beach, where there is a restaurant with wonderful staff and food. A supermarket is down the road but if you are driving from airport, just as easy to buy shopping en-route. You can walk to the port on foot (there's a path) but we never got the chance as busy with other things. The hosts were amazing. Very quick to answer any questions or reply by message. House very clean, 4 double size bedrooms, nice size garden with seating areas & BBQ. Garden is opposite one of the pools.

The 'only fault' is that the pool opposite the property / garden was being cleaned with chemicals by the gardener (who had not informed the hosts and were unaware). So we couldn't use it when I was there (October UK half term week). This was an issue for me but probably not others, who are travelling as a couple or with another adult. The other pools were too far away to leave the children on their own or walk back on their own but if you had another adult who would stay and supervise, it wouldn't be a problem. For example.... - I couldn't let my 12 year old go back and forth to the pool opposite the property if he wanted too, as I can hear / see him when I was in the garden - or for silly things like one child needing the toilet they could have run back to the property but couldn't at the other pools, so we would all have to go back. I wouldn't let one of them go back to the property on their own or leave the other children on their own, as the other pools too far away. - or if the 12 year old wanted to go back for something to eat / chill out but the other 2 wanted to still swim, we couldn't, so we would all go back. Generally causing a row between the children. Like I said, this is the only fault I can find because I wanted a property opposite a pool as I am travelling on my own and the practically of things. So if you are travelling on your own in winter months, between October to April, just ask the host, to ask the gardener, which pools he is planning to clean / shut down for winter.

Fabulous property in a wonderful part of Spain, easy access to the quiet beach and many local bars and restaurants offering great value food and drink. Easy access from Gibraltar airport and several supermarkets within a 5 minute drive of the property.
