Jaye was very helpful in arranging good-priced transport to our next location and sorting discounted dance show tickets. Breakfast was lovely, big portions. Fast WiFi, no issues streaming shows. Room was comfortable, the warm shower was the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka so far!

We had a wonderful stay at Jaye’s Homestay. Our room was newly refurbished, comfortable and had everything we needed! The view overlooking Kandy was beautiful and we enjoyed watching the sunset and monkeys playing!
We had a delicious breakfast every morning and Jaye’s hospitality was fantastic. He answered all our questions about the local area and recommended things for us to do.
We are renting a tuk tuk and we were able to park it at Jaye’s which was very convenient for us.
We would love to come back to visit again one day.

While the room was clean, the bedsheet and blanket were "just fairly clean". The distance from city centre is only around a km.
The location and entrance to rooms are genuinely not good. The property is on a hill and the road/path to the property is not a good one, particularly, in the rain season with pools of water on the way. The entrance to the property is steep down and not suitable for one with luggage and not so fit people.
