Interhouse Karakol

Lovely family taking care of the hostel. The kitchen is well equipped and great. The hostel is very social. The dorms are nice and comfortable. You can do a laundry for a fair price.

Hostel was kept clean and tidy and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay in Karakol. The true standout was the family that runs the hostel. Their warmth and kindness were a definite highlight of my time here. They even went above and beyond to help set up a heating device to dry my shoes after they were left outside in the rain!

Kunduz is a lovely host, she lives there so the place gives a homely feeling. When l arrived she offered me tea and some food, we became friends. There is a lounge with couch and tv where you can socialize. Kitchen is big and kept clean. Don’t worry about the location, there is minibus passing from the main street and takes you to the center in 5-10 minutes. The minibus to Aksu passes closeby, too. I really loved the house and stayed for a few days.

One bathroom and one toilet for all, but even when the dorms were full l didn’t have any problem with it.

Beds were confortables, and the room and the bathroom were clean. Nice garden with fruit trees.

Unfortunately, all the decoration shown in the photos has been removed, which makes the place less welcoming. Globally clean but the trash cans were not emptied every day and some parts of the kitchen were dirty. The hostel is located a little bit far from the center (20-25mn walk).
