The guesthouse looked quite new, it was very clean, and the kitchen was modern and comfy. The big kitchen table was a naturally place to gather people for coffee and chat. It was also possible to do laundry for a small fee. The host him self was very helpful and friendly, made us feel like home in his guesthouse. We stayed one night before before continuing out of Karakol. And spent one more night when we came back again to Karakol. Well for sure choose Maral if we are coming back to Karakol in the future.

Das Haus ist sehr neu. Alles sehr sauber. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit direktem Blick auf die Berge. Es ist eine ruhige Gegend, trotz Lage an einer Kreuzung. Fast kein Verkehr. Vielleicht für manche Menschen etwas außerhalb, entfernt von Dunganischer Moschee und Orthodoxer Kirche. Aber mit Yandex Taxi alles kein Problem. Die Eigentümerfamilie ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Awesome place, very clean, and cosy. The room has everything we need, plus it has a private bathroom, that's very rare in the area. And you can cook if you want, the kitchen is fully equipped. I wish the owner good luck, he is doing a great job maintaining the guest house in a great condition.
