During a trip from Cape Town to Johannesburg we stayed over at Colesberg Lodge. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the lodge was clean & tidy.
The room and bathroom was clean and the king size bed was comfortable. The room had a bar fridge and a aircon which was a must. The pool and pool are was clean and very user friendly. We had a good stay.

We enjoyed the friendly owner of the establishment that did not rush his conversation with is. His son is a well brought up youngster with good strong values. The supper was great and the attention we received was over and above.

- They do not disclose online that there is a parking fee
-No bar fridge , which forces your to by from them
-too noisy and the receptionist advised us to report the noise after 21:30.yet the reason for my booking was to rest so that I could continue with my driving

The room were neat and well arranged however I will not recommend this hotel for the following reasons.
Aircon was ineffective and staff were not helpful. The maintenance supervisor looked at it and couldn't do anything. He said he would discuss with his manager and come back to me. That was the last I heard from him. The hotel was not prepared to offer alternative services like a fan to overcome the heat.
Wifi works for 10 minutes and then you have to reconnect. This happened several times during the night.
There is no catering for vegetarians on their menu.
