It was a surprise in the dare I say Middle of nowhere- old rustic but seriously charming and well considered
A few carports would help even though staff covered the cars with car covers as it was literally freezing

We loved the homeliness and hospitality we experienced. The rooms were spacious and clean.
The initial arrival did not feel as if we arrived at a decent place, but once we came through the gates at the back of the dirt road, we knew we were going to be fine.

Superb food nicely presented. A unique, clever mix of old traditional furniture with ultra new modern ones like the high quality linen, insect nets, electric blankets etc. Covers for vehicles during frosty Free State nights was a welcome idea. Friendly well trained helpful staff. Highly recommended as a half way stop from Gauteng to CTA. , or a Karoo experience.
