Clean and neat. Communication before arrival. The place was lovely and comfortable. Lovely blankets and linen. Bathroom was great too.

We loved the history attached to the "tuinhuise" and the Victoria Manor Hotel itself. The staff who attended to us had all worked there for 16 years and more! The bedding was beautiful and I appreciated the "old" blankets - old but fresh - the same type my gran used in her home in the Karoo!
The receptionist could have been a bit more "people" friendly. We had to prompt her for info - she should be more upfront with info and advice.

Accommodation was advertised to have airconditioning, however this was only in 1 bedroom. The other bedroom and the rest of the house did not have aircon. Upon arrival, outside temperatures were approx. 37C, but inside the house it was over 40C, and although we arrived at the pre-communicated arrival time, the aircon was not switched on beforehand. Breakfast was mediocre. Overall we feel that this accommodation was overpriced.
