such a lovely, hidden gem. great to walk into Fordingbridge or along the old railway line. very clean and tidy and something a bit different.
not ‘didn’t likes’ but could do with a lamp in the lounge and a better shower, although appreciate water pressure is probably a bit on the low side. wouldn’t put us off coming back.

The place was lovely and the family who run it are very nice. The key handover was very efficient and there were a few supplies in the lodge like biscuits cereal eggs and milk which was a nice touch.
The lodge is quite old and dated I would expect a higher standard for the price payed. It’s ok and has everything you need but don’t have too high an expectation. If you like quirky and countryside it’s certainly for you!

Everything about the Hideaway was perfect. I will definitely go back there in the summer. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying there to anyone 10 out of 10.
