About this cottage rental
Shepherds Spring Cottages are located in the delightful grounds of an 18th Century manor house, situated between the historic medieval town of Fordingbridge and the village of Godshill.
Cottage 1 has been tastefully converted into a comfortable, stylish, high standard accommodation, offering a secluded retreat in a peaceful location.The charming cottage spacious sleeps 6 people across 1 Double bedroom and 2 Twin rooms across 2 floors and has an Upstairs Shower/ WC Room and Downstairs Bath/ WC room. The Kitchen area has a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, and fridge-freezer and utensils. The large kitchen flows directly into the comfortable dining/living room which has everything you need to make yourself at home; a dining table for 6 people, lounge area with large sofa, armchair, flat screen TV and DVD player.
Downstairs includes a bathroom with bath, over bath shower, WC and shaver point and Bedroom 1 which as a large double bed. On the first floor is Bedroom 2 with twin single beds into eaves and Bedroom 3 with twin single beds into eaves, as well as a shower room with shower cubicle, basin & WC. On the landing is a storage cupboard with hanging rails, hoover, iron, ironing board, and airer.
Outside the cottage is an enclosed shingled sitting area. In addition, there is a secluded grassed BBQ garden with picnic tables. Ample off road parking. Your stay includes Bed linen, electricity, gas central heating and WiFi.
If you need a travel cot (please bring own bedding/linen) high chair and stair gate please select this option when booking. Please bring own beach towels. Bicycle and equipment storage can be provided, please request this on booking

Everything was provided
Only negative was low ceiling in bathroom and kept banging heads
But overall had very pleasant stay and nice and close to see animals in the forest.

This property was so beautifully presented- tasteful decor, lots of space for 5 or 6 people, all mod cons, very comfy, everything you need! Also in included a built in BBQ outside.
The upstairs shower was a little bit dodgy but it wasn’t a big deal, there was another shower and bath downstairs.
Very well situated for the new forest- Fordingbridge with shops and supermarket and the river running through it.
Sandyballs resort nearby.
We visited Beaulieu and lyndhurst both very picturesque and did a bus tour which was great.
Sandra was very helpful with some accommodations needed for our daughter who has a disability.
All in all a lovely little break.

A beautiful property tucked away from the nearby town of Fordingbridge, overlooking the floodplain and river. Stunning views of the local country and nestled amid grazing cattle and sheep. Interior is comfortably furnished and all modern conveniences are included. Perfectly located for exploring the New Forest and local coast.
