This hotel is the very definition of camp. The decor is so far over the top it borders on the psychedelic. I aopred the detail work in the bathroom, on the ceiling, in the hallways - everywhere. My husband would have preferred a Marriott and if that's your style you probably won't love the Royal Victoria- Ex British Embassy (even the full name !) BUT if you want a fantasy of Tunis at the very entrance to the Medina you will fall in love with the place
the breakfast could have had more choices. The air conditioning could have been stronger. The mood lighting in the room was brilliant.

Massive cockroach in the bathroom.
Bath plumbing is weird and bath is uncomfortable to use.
