B&B Old Salerno

The accommodation location is great - a small well stocked supermarket next door and a very short walk to Old Salerno town with lots of lovely small cafes and restaurants, and a short walk from the sea front. Our en suite room was great with lots of space and plenty of towels. Breakfast was plentiful, and always nicely prepared ready for us in the morning, with supplies available all day long, including bottled water, as well as kitchen facilities just outside our room if wanted. A great find, especially for couple or friends. Roberta, who checked us in and supplied us with good support, including her phone number, etc, was great and extremely helpful. Note - I would highly recommend pre-booking a taxi to and from the airport.

First impressions are scary as the front of the building looks like a derelict building. Even our taxi driver was surprised. Due to our flight being delayed, check-in wasn't as smooth as it could have been. The thing that really spoilt things a little and stopped me giving this short break a 10/10 was the front door lock to the building which really needs changing as the key didn't always work, which was very scary late at night. It needed a 'knack' to get it to work. Several keys were provided but that didn't help as the lock is the problem not the keys. I assume the lock is the responsibility of the freeholder and not the building users.

A localização eh excelente. A Silvana foi muito querida e atenciosa, sempre nos oferecndo um bom café da manhã italiano. Apenas 10 minutos de caminhada até a estação Salerno, muitas lojas,mercadinhos, pizzaria no bairro. Com certeza pretendo voltar mais vezes.

O chuveiro ficava esquentando e esfriando a temperatura, mas o restante compensou muito Amei e voltarei❤️

The position was good ,few minutes walking distance from everything.The owner was nice and kind, also the breakfast even if it is a cold common space was full of different croissants, juice and yogurt..

The room was really full of humidity and the glass behind the bed to cover the rocks was broken, so the air was passing through those holes..not pleasant. There was no plastic cover around the toilet.those things should be fixed.for the price paid.
