Villa Lucia with private heated pool,Beach,Golf Course.12 people

The host, Richard, was very welcoming but there was nothing in the villa when we arrived, not even any milk and a tea bag. Neither were there any cleaning materials. Also, pay attention to the terms and conditions - which we didn’t - it’s extra if you want cleaners during your stay. Overall, we had a very nice time but to be honest the ‘amazing’ villa has seen better days, particularly the kitchen where the fridge freezer looks as though it might topple forward and a very noisy washing machine lives. Best to use it when you’re out!! The bbq is inadequate for even a half full house but all things that can be easily rectified for a few euros and should be at the cost of rental.

We were 10 persons, aged from 12 to 78. It all worked very well. The kitchen is well equipped and big enough for 2-3 persons to work together. Especially nice to have was the extra refrigerator placed in a closet.We had three rental cars, which was perfect. Parking is close by. We had almost all our meals at the villa, and did our shopping at Mercadona. So I think you have to have at least one car, as you have to shop daily for 10-12 persons.There are a stunning view from the villa over the sea.Apart from 2-3 steps at the entrance, the villa is suitable for a person with reduced mobility, staying on the ground floor.The villa is equipped with electronic codelocks, which was very convenient.Summary: great stay.

Excellent villa and a great pool. Our host Richard was helpful especially if you need a lift from the airport but he is always available if you have questions.The local beach is nice and walkable but it's further away that expected, a good 30mins.The Bar & Grill restaurant next to the local Spar shop is only 10mins walk and the food and atmosphere is brilliant.Strongly recommend visiting Mogan.

We had a nice vacation in Villa Lucia. The pool and terrase area is very good. The neighborhood is very peaceful and you are close to a good walking path up into the mountains. The villa itself had good and less good points. Overall everything in the villa is working but very worn. The decor of the villa is also quite special but some might like it. The bedrooms are generally rather small. The main bedroom has a very strange feature that the acess to the bathroom is through a closet. We never understiod the purpose of this. The propertty is serviced by a company. Generally the service was fine, but at one point they failed. The first night when we were to go to bed we found out that 2 of the beds lacked the sheet under the blanket. The blankets were old and did not seem to be washed after each rental so sleeping without a sheet was not a pleasant feeling. The next morning we called to the company doing the servicing. They said they would look in the store room for more shets and then bring some. Late in the afternoon that day no sheets had arrive and we called them again. We were then told they had no sheet in the store room but would get sheet back from the laundry the next day and we would get 2 sheets delivered the next day between 11 AM and 1 PM. Thus we had to sleep the second nights witout sheets in 2 beds. The following day we waited but nothing happened, at the end of the day I called but did not get a reply. I then sent a text message and got a message back that there had been a misunderstanding and they had not received any sheets from the laundry due to a carnival. However they would bring us sheets the next day. Thus 2 people had to sleep a 3rd night without sheets. The following day something broke in the room with the pool pump and filter which caused water to poor out and flood the room..We called for urgent assistance and 2 pool people arrived quite fast and also brought the cleen sheets. It was fantastic that after 3 nights with missing sheet on the 4th night all could leep in s fairly clean beds. Thus all in all we had a nice vacation in this villa, but for the quite high price we paid I would have expected a better standard in the villa and I would have expected clean sheets on alll beds and thus only 3 stars.
