Salobre Las Terrazas 10

We have just returned from a great 12 nights stay here, absolutely brilliant from start to finish and the views are wonderful. We changed our dates last minute and added 3 extra nights, the staff were brilliant sorting this out for us. The house itself is very well equipped, with a large master, en-suite and terrace which my 17 year old loved. The downstairs rooms (one double, one twin) both open out onto the garden/terrace, because of this we slept in the double with our younger children next door however the door to the twin room can be locked with a key so we needn’t have worried. The kitchen had everything we needed, the lounge area comfortable and outside space relaxing. The pool gets the sun until lunchtime so most days we stayed home in the morning and played in the pool before venturing out to explore the island. The pool was cleaned 3 times during our stay and the house (and towels/bedding changed) once. Definitely pay extra to have the pool heated, as we arrived a few days earlier than originally planned, the pool had only just been switched on and the first day the water was very cold! It soon warmed up though and was the perfect temperature for the rest of our stay. A car is a must have to get out and about although there were a steady stream of taxis in the area.

The bed in the downstairs bedroom was very hard and I didn’t find it comfortable at all however my husband said it was fine.

Rather steep and narrow access road from the main road. No dining area/table inside the villa (too cold to sit outside in mornings and late evenings in january) Note that a car is needed to drive to the coast for shopping and restaurants
