One of the best places I’ve ever visited. Great hosts.

This place was perfect. The hosts were great. I was working 75% of the time; and to do that with this view was incredible. The hosts gave me homegrown tomatoes, they brought me lunch and wine when I first arrived (and a lot more). I honestly love this place. Lopud Island info for travellers (late October/November): There is a grocery shop, but out of season it’s nearly empty - so buy groceries before if you’re self-catering. There’s a Konzum 10-mins from Port Gruz where you get the ferry to Lopud. (There are also restaurants and shops in-season.) And, if you’re staying for awhile, your legs are going to get stronger! Thank you Martin and Lijepa.

I would not hesitate to recommend this property. It was just as advertised and more.

The view was spectacular. A warm welcome and had everything we needed.

The long climb up the steps was a challenge so had to minimize the times I went down to the area of shops & restaurants.

The view from the balcony. The hosts were lovely so kind and kept the place so nice.

It rained a few days but the plants needed it after a hot summer .after that it was lovely and the sea was so warm.

Superb

You will have to climb the steps at 150m above sea level, but as a reward you will receive (in addition to being in good physical condition) a beautiful view, a vine-covered terrace, a forest and a garden all around. The friendly hosts will meet you, deliver your luggage, treat you with wine and fruit, help with the laundry, organize a transfer ... in general, they will try to make your rest easy and pleasant.

Since the house is next to the forest, there are mosquitoes and all kinds of wildlife. Stock up on protective equipment. And if you want to cook at home (I personally cooked with pleasure, enjoying the landscape), buy basic food - there is no fresh meat and fish, the rest is there, but more expensive. The pastries are wonderful.

Apartments Cervelin - top views

Placed on the island of Lopud, connected several times a day to Dubrovnik by ferry, these nice appartements are well situated above harbor's level and away from the boardwalk's huzzle and buzzle. Climbing the 150 steps you are rewarded by a beautiful panorama view of the island, the sunsets are simply amazing. Lepa and her husband Martin are very nice, helpful and spoiled us with local wine and figues. You are close to the main beaches of the island, certainly easier to reach without any physical impairments.

For us a little training, for others potentially problematic: 150 steps to the property.

Fantastic week - we loved every minute - would definitely stay here again if we go back to Lopud.

The view was even better than shown on photos. Host was amazing - very friendly, met us off the ferry and regularly changed towels etc. It is quite a walk up to the property as expected due to the views - well worth it and felt more justified when ice cream eating !! Massive outdoor veranda.
