Absolutely wonderful place to stay, worth every stair you have to walk up.

Breakfast was wonderful, view was spectacular, and being oceanfront was incredible.

I had to go out and purchase dishsoap and laundry detergent, but when I spoke with the other guests, the communal kitchen had soap to do dishes. I’m not upset about it, especially since I had my own kitchen and washer, but it was the only inconvenience I experienced.

Spacious and great view

Welcoming, good information and instructions sent prior arrival. Spacious room, great view from the room. Breakfast was available but we did not eat there as we wanted to try food in nearby restaurants. We had access to sunbeds on the beach in front of the house which was a great perk. Challenge were the steps, there is 120 steps from main street which was challenge as I was with kid and had to carry him up and down for 3 days :) Overall great place and would highly recommend 👌

Get away from it all with amazing sea views, no roads or cars and peace.

The sea view from our balcony was absolutely stunning! Waking up to that view every morning, and having breakfast on the balcony was amazing! We sat and watched boats coming in and out of the port all day. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful. The perfect escape from everyday life. The gardens were very pretty, with lots of flowers and fruit (lemon, apples)trees, as well as grapes. The swimming pool was well maintained and there was a mixture of lounge chairs and hammocks to lounge on. It is a family-run business, Keljko, the son of the owner, runs it, and is very friendly and helpful. They make their own wine, sold by the bottle, which was very good!

The hill location requires climbing 100+ steps to reach the room, so not for the less mobile. However, if like us, you like the exercise, it’s a bonus!

Amazing view!

The view from the hotel was amazing! You could see the ocean and the mountains. Breakfast was great; coffee/tee, eggs, bread, cheese, tomatos, ham, salami, pancakes and juice. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and we had a view like a postcard.

We felt like influencers living a luxurious life!

The breakfast was everything we never knew we needed. It was so delicious and such a good price. Had it all 3 mornings we were on the island. Rosa helped us each morning and was lovely! We were also each provided a beach towel and a bath towel, which was so helpful.

Perfect dreamy location - lovely place and people.

Beautiful family run hotel. Feels loved and appreciated. Room was great and the facilities and breakfast were lovely but most of all it is the people that make this place special. Zjelkjo and Rosa were great people who made every effort to look after our needs with a smile and a positive attitude. We want to thank them for looking after us and we’d love to visit again.

It was all lovely. ☺️ One thing is that if you have a disability it would be difficult to access. There are lots of steps (100?) up to the apartment but we were given help with our bags and communication was great from Zjelkjo so they were ready to greet us and help.

Gorgeous views and lovely atmosphere

Beautiful view, large family room with little kitchen. The pool had an amazing view. The whole place so was much more amazing than we had expected. The hotel staff were great - we dropped our bags off early and we stayed a little later to work around ferries. Totally recommend hotel Tomić to others - it was fabulous

Lots of stairs, but you need them to get the amazing view - so longs as you are prepared for it, then it is fine

Fine for a short stay

Beautiful views over the bay. Friendly and welcoming staff. Room basic but nice. Balcony door has shutters and helpful fly screen. Pool is nice area to relax, comfy seating.

Bed was very squeaky, woke me up everytime I rolled over. A/C not very effective.

Gorgeous boutique hotel - pool with a view

Amazing location, great view from our balcony and really nice to have that the pool also with a view away from the hussle and bussle. A real escape.

The shared kitchen was equipped but as it was busy there was a shortage of utensils and plates. I have nothing else negative to say, other than that perfect stay!

a place with superb views

The view is absolutely spectacular, worth climbing all those stairs. I had a room with balcony view (gorgeous view!), and the only thing missing was a small fridge in my room, but I travelled with friends one of whom had a room with a kitchen so easy to place my morning yogurt in her fridge. Zjelko, the young host, is very nice and helpful - waited for us to bring our luggage up the long flight of stairs...and also very friendly. We said we'd return, the infinity pool area is amazing, beyond relaxing and once again, magnificent views and wide open space. fabulous place!

An astounding and peaceful stay for vacation in the beautiful land of Croatia. From the unforgettable scenic views of the island, its mountains and clear blue sea to the comfortable, clean, and spacious rooms, this hotel was everything and more. There was a ease of check-in and check-out and the location is convenient and central with access to other parts of Croatia via ferry to further explore. The owner Željko is very hospitable, kind, and truly ensures a great stay. His staff, Francisco, Andrea, and Luisa too are extremely exceptional, helpful, and always there when/if needed. I highly recommend booking here and I will soon book here when I return. Thank you again!

Fantastic family holiday!

My husband, 2 daughters and I are just home from a glorious week at Guest House Tomic. We were very pleased with the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the room and the absolutely fantastic location by the beach. Our large family room with kitchen was priced very reasonably, the beds were really comfy and the view was breathtaking. Thank you to everyone at Guest House Tomic for such an unforgettable holiday, we couldn't be happier!

Wonderful island, amazing view, ok property.

The absolute selling point of this property is the view, it really is exquisite. Difficult to get to as the property is up a lot of stairs so the journey up with the luggage wasn’t enjoyable, but the view made it worth it when you get there. It must be one of the best views on the island as wherever we were we could look up and spot our big window in the distance. The staff are lovely and very helpful when you need them. Marijeta was so supportive and efficient in answering questions before we travelled, and sorted some minor issues we had whilst there within minutes.

Being absolutely objective the room just isn’t up to scratch and is in serious need of updating. The walls and ceiling are poorly painted and there is no decoration within the room, it’s just bare walls, dated bedding and old scratchy towels. The furniture is fine and the beds are comfy, however under the beds was very dusty. There is a major design flaw in the kitchen where the window opens right onto the hob. The skirting boards are coming away from the walls and in need of repair. There were a lot of ants in the kitchen and the bathroom that we had to clean away daily. There really should have been some cleaning supplies left in the room as obviously coming in from the beach the floor got sandy. A dustpan and brush would have been all that was needed. Our room was not cleaned whilst we stayed there for the week. I believe this is because the property managers do not have access to the room whilst you aren’t there. I think this is a mistake and would have loved to return to a clean room, clean sheets and clean towels.
