Peaceful, quiet, perfect stopover spot for a day or two of hiking and discovering Lopud- which is beautiful!

The view was amazing, the staff totally wonderful and location couldn’t be better. Loved the bells from the church in the morning!

Great location and lovely staff

Very nice location in the harbour. A small beach outside so you can change into swimming suit in the room and just walk out. The staff is very lovely and friendly. I highly recommend staying here.

There was a bit of a smell in the bathroom, otherwise I would rate it 10. When I told the staff they dealt with it as best they could.

It was lovely!

While not the fanciest, Hotel Glavovic was my favorite of the 7 different hotels and guesthouses I stayed in while traveling the Dalmation coast. It was the first hotel built on the island of Lopud in 1923 by the grand and great grandparents of the Pulić family, who still run it today, and it’s they who make staying there so special. My friends and I felt as though we were part of the family; mother Vlasta, father Luca and son Ljubo are the warmest hosts ever and always made time to sit with us, drink wine (or coffee) with us, and tell us about the island, the hotel’s history and modern Croatian politics - super fascinating! The location overlooking the water is perfect - very near the ferry and many restaurants, and I slept like a baby listening to the lapping of the water below. It is definitely not a luxury resort hotel (thank heavens!) but if you want a sweet, family-run small hotel with a lot of heart and soul, Hotel Glavovic is for you.

Great hotel on a great island

Breakfast was simple but good. Our room was at the front with great views. Closing the balcony doors and blackout curtains provided a quiet nights sleep. With no cars on the island there are no noisy mornings. Good air conditioning. Good shower. Friendly owners.

The accommodation is a little dated but don't let this put you off as it is clean.

We loved the location. It was fun being right in the center of all the action. We snagged the corner room with a view. It was fun to fall asleep to the noise of the town. In the morning and evening, the area is quiet and romantic. If you get the sea view, you'll love it. Breakfast in the morning is great. The staff is extremely friendly! This is definitely a highlight.

I would have loved a fan in the room! We just went when it was so hot. Other than that- loved the stay.

A lovely old family run hotel.

Less than an hour’s boat trip took us to the Island of Lopud which seems to be a forgotten place. We had booked to stay overnight at Hotel Glavovic which is family owned. We were greeted by the lovely cheery owner who was delighted to see us as we were staying in early season. We were very disappointed to learn that the restaurant was not open as we had heard only good things about it. There are other restaurants to explore nearby. We had a lovely room with a small balcony and a view of the sea bay. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had a fantastic breakfast served on the terrace overlooking the sea. The food was beautifully presented and cooked as we liked. A trek up and over the hill took us to a delightful sandy beach, well worth the climb. (You can get a ‘golf cart’ to take you most of the way). There we hired sun loungers and relaxed under a shady palm canopy. So lovely and peaceful with its safe, sandy beach. We really recommend a trip out to Lopud and a stay at the Hotel Glavovic would be perfect. Thank you so much for a lovely stay we would stay there again when next in Dubrovnik. We were sorry to leave.

A very quaint, family run hotel right by the sea front. We really enjoyed our stay. Our hotel room had a lovely view of the bay, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the food at the restaurant was good. The hotel has some deck chairs on the local beach which is an added bonus! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Lopud.

A memorable stay at the Glavovic for all the right reasons. We will be back!

The hotel very kindly opened up for us despite the lack of tourists due to covid. The hotel is in an excellent position overlooking the sea. The staff are very warm & friendly & went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Exceptional

This has been for sure one of our best hotel experiences, if not the best. The location is dreamy, they gave us a room with a balcony and amazing views, and it was clean and had a really comfortable bed, which we could enjoy even more because of the sound of the sea at night. All the staff were friendly and available and they provided us every single morning with a delicious breakfast of fresh food (some of it from their own garden). We felt super welcome. We can't recommend this place enough and we can't wait to come back!

Hotel idéalement situé à proximité du port. Excellent rapport qualité. L'employée est accueillante et facilite votre arrivée et séjour. On s'est rarement senti aussi bien accueilli ailleurs. On peut profiter de la terrasses de l 'hotel pour admirer le coucher du soleil. Nous sommes repartis avec le premier bateau et notre hôte qui parlait français a facilité notre départ.

-Tardaron bastante en atendernos y el dueño hablaba por teléfono mientras nos pedía los DNI’s a pesar de ya tenerlos online -Las instalaciones no se parecen nada a las fotos -Los cuartos de baños especialmente sucios, con pelos, productos usados que no eran nuestros y la silicona de la ducha negra de la suciedad -Solo limpiaron al quejarnos por segunda vez -No pasaron a limpiar nunca durante nuestra estancia -Todo estaba muy anticuado -Estafa de Booking.com

La gentillesse des propriétaires et du personnel. L’emplacement et la vue sur la mer depuis notre chambre. Nous avons pu profiter de notre chambre jusqu’à 18h le jour de notre départ. Les transats mis à notre disposition.
