Always check the bed sheets before you jump in bed! These sheets look like they had t been changed in a while - they were dirty and had long black hair on them!! And there were dry blood stains on the pillow case! I asked for fresh sheets but came back to the same dirty sheets on the bed. Also, the shower curtain was covered in black mold! Just disgusting 🤢

If you prefer a rustic stay in a late 17th century building then this hotel is for you. It is situated in a great location in the old town close to sites and food.

What an amazing place, for a person that is fascinated by old architecture. Very kind staff. The rooms are, of course, a bit noisy. The breakfast was basic, however it was sufficient. Location is conveniently close to public transport, and numerous restaurants of different sorts.

Lovely historic building full of quirky features. We had a suite which was on the front. This meant the road noise could be heard throughout the night so I suggest on booking this hotel ask for a quite room away from the main road. The staff were helpful and polite. The area felt safe with lots of police presence.
