Le Méridien Towers Makkah

Very good service. Shuttle service do haram is very convenient. Rooms are clean and tidy. Hotel to haram is 5 min by bus

It is not close to the haram, but the shuttle makes us for it. The shuttle runs 24 hrs

Unfortunately, my stay at Le Méridien Towers Hotel was a very disappointing When we first entered our room, there was a very strong and unpleasant smell coming from the dirty carpet. The carpet had an old, musty smell that remained throughout our stay and was never properly resolved. The electric kettle in the kitchen was extremely dirty when we arrived. Despite raising the issue, it was never properly cleaned or replaced. There was also a leak from the Muslim shower (bidet) next to the toilet. After we complained, the hotel eventually replaced it, which I appreciate, but several other issues remained unresolved. On the second day, we requested proper room maintenance, but there was no meaningful response. We even sent them written message, but there was no proper follow-up or anyone taking responsibility for the request. Then, on the third day, a maintenance person finally came, but even that was handled very poorly. I had two connected rooms, yet only one room was serviced while the other was simply left unfinished. Some basic bathroom essentials were also missing, and the bathrooms themselves were not maintained to the standard I would expect from a hotel in this price range. Another major issue is the shuttle service to the Haram. The hotel’s shuttle route itself is quite short, but the problem is where the shuttle drops passengers. The route from the drop-off point toward the Haram is frequently closed, particularly the access underneath the Clock Tower, forcing guests to take a much longer alternative route. This can add roughly 1 km of walking, which is particularly inconvenient for going Haram. Overall, I am not satisfied with the service, housekeeping, maintenance, or access arrangement. For the price range of this hotel, I expected a much higher standard. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend Le Méridien Towers Hotel and would not consider staying here again.
