Mariana Apartments

Location was a bit on the mountain side.

Mariana and Joni were the perfect hosts. When we arrived at the port in Sarandë, they kindly offered to pick us up, which we were extremely grateful for. Communication throughout our stay was excellent, and they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. One evening, we were struggling to get a taxi to a restaurant that was a little out of the way. After our taxi was cancelled twice through an app, we saw Mariana and Joni, and they immediately arranged one for us. While we waited, they offered us fresh fruit from their garden, which was such a lovely and thoughtful gesture. The apartment was cleaned every single day, with fresh towels provided regularly, and the room was absolutely spotless. Their hospitality, kindness, and attention to detail really made our stay special. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Mariana and Joni to anyone visiting Sarandë!

The walk up the hill to the apartments can be a little tiring, especially after a long day. However, we actually used it to our advantage and treated it as a bit of a workout each evening! If you’re not driving, taxis are easy to get from the centre and are a convenient option. That said, if you enjoy walking, the apartment isn’t really that far from the centre and the walk is perfectly manageable.

The hosts are amazing and the property was so clean and well organised. Would definitely recommend.
