Beautiful home in the hills

The location is not the same as on booking, the walk is about 30 minutes from /to the center all the way up a hill. Without a car/bike/motorcycle I would not do this walk daily again especially in 30degrees heat:(

The owners are one of the nicest people we’ve met.

The overall experience was very pleasant. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful, they greeted us with fresh figs that were grown in their own backyard ! The house has a gorgeous view overlooking the whole city, the apartment has everything you need (fridge, AC, comfortable beds ! Me and my partner highly recommend this !

The house is on the hill, so you have to do a bit of exercise to get there.

Amazing holidays for a family

The apartament is simple but clean and equipped with everything what is neccessary on holidays. It has got a kitchen annex with pots, cups, and plates. There is a private bathroom in the apartament. Although the owners live in the same building there is a private entrance to the apartament . You can do the loundry , iron clothes or borrow sunbeds. There is a big wardrobe in the corridor to keep your stuff. The owners are very nice and helpful.(Whatever we asked for we got). The contact with owners is easy via what's up even before the vacation. They answer really quickly.The apartament has a beautiful balcony with an amazing seaview where you can sit on a big sofa and chill out. The neighbourhood is quiet. It is not far from the city centre. The wifi worked perfectly, although it was used by three people. Air condition is also good. The parking place is in front of the building. It is perfect for people having a car as the house is on a steepy hill and there are a lot of attractions around Saranda accessible by car.

Google maps application has some problems with placing the house on the map , so we had the trouble to get there but the owners found us and helped to get there. The information on booking.com is a little bit confusing as it is said 'one bedroom apartament' but there is no separate bedroom. It is one big room with kitchen, bathroom, corridor, and a big balcony.

she called and threatened me because she didn't like the points I gave her.She called many times to delete the comment. They were working with a drill at 9 in the morning, we couldn't sleep. I took back the high points I gave, how can you call me and threaten me?

Nothing. It may be worth noting that this apartment is about 25 mins walk from the ferry port, uphill. This wasn't an issue for us, but anyone who does not like walking, may want to rent a car / get a taxi up here.

Payment in cash only, it’s a cash economy. Cash everywhere no card Stayed there 3 days cuz it was comfortable Original it was supposed to be 2 nights only but comfort made me extend Big space & good price Bedroom with double bed and Living room with kitchen and big balcony view on whole city, comfortable sofa, fast internet Place is clean and towels and blankets provided since it’s summer yet cold Private parking with door to keep the car safe Washing machine, hot water, I’d have liked the shower more if there was curtains so the bathroom doesn’t get wet, but tools provided to dry it 👍🏾 and bathroom & house slippers provided Big sofa in the balcony, you can dry clothes on ropes in balcony

Disappointing

Second day the owner came to see us, and asked for 20 euro extra, because in her oppinion, we used the washing machine too much. (4 times - three people and a lot of clothing in different colours). We gave her nothing, she tried to cheat us.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la vue que donner la terrasse et le Rooftop.

Lors de notre arrivée les hôtes ont eu l’amabilité de venir nous récupérer ce qui fut très gentil de leur part. En revanche, le séjour apaisant et agréable n’était absolument pas au rendez-vous. Tout d’abord que fut notre surprise, quand nous avons vu que dans notre chambre aucune fenêtre n’était disponible, donc aucune aération possible. Salle de bain extrêmement dangereuse mélanger au toilettes avec un carrelage (chutes) Une odeur extrêmement désagréable nous a suivi tout le long du séjour. L’odeur des égouts dans la sdb malgré leur aide afin de remédier à ce souci, l’odeur n’est pas partie du tout. Et je vous rappelle qu’il n’y avait pas de fenêtre. J’ai été accusé d’avoir bu deux bières alors que je ne bois même pas d’alcool. Et j’avais bien précisé que je n’avais consommé qu’une seule canette que j’ai d’ailleurs payé en laissant une pièce de monnaie sur la machine. Je n’ai pas eu le droit de faire des machines dès mon arrivée, alors que j’avais du linge sale de mon précédent voyage, étant donné que nous faisons un Road trip. Certains matériel sont à notre disposition, mais pas conformément à l’annonce. La cuisine est en extérieur et partagée avec tous y compris pour la machine et les étendoir. Nous n’avons pas énormément d’intimité. Lorsque j’ai annoncé mon âge à l’hote( 20 ans) je me suis pris plusieurs réflexions comme une mère parlant à son enfant. Lorsque j’ai voulu nettoyer les serviettes de la douche, le deuxième jour elle m’a dit non car je venais d’arriver depuis à peine 24 heures. Mais elle a quand même fini par m’en donner des nouvelles après m’avoir fait quelques réflexions en me montrant les taches comme si nous étions sales. La plage n’est pas du tout à 10 minutes à pied, mais plus 15- 20 min. l’Airbnb est situé en hauteur dans des conditions très peu innover. Donc énormément de marche en hauteur avec des pentes très déviée .Le prix n’en vaut pas du tout la peine. Gentils mais insistants et avec pleins de réflexions .

Милая хозяйка, жить там ощущается как приехать в гости к своей бабушке. Небольшой уютный дворик с деревьями. Комната и ванная комнате как на фото. Есть балкон. Кухни мы не нашли, хотя и готовить в этот раз не пришлось. До центра или пляжа всего 10-15 мин. Отель находится на горе, хотя мы уже привыкли к такому в Албании. В общем все было хорошо.

Адрес на букинг не соответствует реальному, он совсем в другой стороне. Хозяйка отправила точку в вотсапе, но так как у нас не было интернета, мы не смогли этим воспользоваться. Интернет не работал в нашем номере и приходилось выходить во двор.

Mi è piaciuto per di più la vista dalla terrazza. Vedi tutta saranda e la sera puoi goderti di questo spettacolo, inoltre vi è un silenzio che fa rilassare. La proprietaria ci ha accolto con grande premura, e ha bevuto con noi al nostro arrivo una bevanda fresca. Molto disponibile anche nel consigliarci posti da visitare

wir haben in der Unterkunft Vjollca’s Home eingecheckt – was sich leider sehr schnell als schwerwiegender Fehler herausgestellt hat. Schon beim Betreten des Appartements waren wir geschockt: Das Badezimmer war lebensgefährlich ausgestattet, mit offenen Stromkabeln direkt neben der Dusche, was ein enormes Sicherheitsrisiko darstellt. Darüber hinaus war die gesamte Unterkunft in einem ungepflegten, unhygienischen Zustand – schmutziges Geschirr, ungewaschene Töpfe und allgemein mangelnde Sauberkeit. Statt eines erholsamen Aufenthalts wurden wir von der Gastgeberin seit unserer Ankunft permanent über WhatsApp bedrängt und eingeschüchtert, mit haltlosen Anschuldigungen . Die Kommunikation war respektlos und unangemessen. Zusätzlich wurde uns untersagt, die Klimaanlage zu benutzen, obwohl diese laut Beschreibung im Preis enthalten war. Wir haben uns ernsthaft komplett im Stich gelassen gefühlt. Es wurde uns weder eine Quittung noch ein professioneller Umgang geboten. Aus Angst und wegen der untragbaren Zustände haben wir uns gezwungen gesehen, noch am nächsten Tag wieder auszuziehen, nachdem sich niemand um uns oder den Ablauf gekümmert hat. Unmittelbar nach unserem Auszug wurden wir erneut vom Gastgeber (wohnt direkt neben an) zu Rede gestellt . Besonders bezeichnend: Nur wenige Minuten nach unserem Auszug wurde die Unterkunft wieder auf der Plattform freigegeben – zu einem niedrigeren Preis. Wir fordern hiermit eine vollständige Rückerstattung des gezahlten Betrags.

L'ospitalità di Saranda

Questa è una recensione a cui tengo particolarmente. La stanza era normalissima, pulita , climatizzata e aveva il giardino meravigliosamente curato di fronte. La struttura offre stanze per lavoro e pochi giorni come nel mio caso ma anche appartamenti vista mare. Situata sulle alture, lontana dal caos del centro e nel pieno silenzio, questa struttura è gestita dell'host piu incredibile che possiate conoscere. Una famiglia del posto che fa dell'ospitalità e la gentilezza la migliore medicina per il cuore. In 15 min sarete in centro e in spiaggia,avrete ristoranti tipici ovunque nei dintorni e vi godrete dei tramonti meravigliosi nel massimo della tranquillità. Non vi mancherà nulla e vi sentirete come a casa.

Nu recomandam pe timp de canicula, în rest e acceptabil.

Vedere la mare(panorama superba). Bucatarie utilata aproape corespunzator. Pat, in dormitor, confortabil. Gazda, amabila, cel putin in aparenta, si vorbareata.

Proprietarul prezintă asa-zisa ,,casa de vacanta", pe booking, în întregime, ceea ce face ca la fata locului sa ai cateva surprize. De exemplu, în prezentare/poze se vede mașina de spălat, în realitate, lipseste (ne-a întrebat gazda spre finalul sejurului dacă avem nevoie de mașină de spălat, după ce spălasem la chiuveta cele necesare). Proprietarii stau aproape tot timpul prin curte, cu ochii pe tine, ceea ce creează disconfort. Nu poți lăsa aerul condiționat din dormitor sa meargă cand ești plecat(speram ca patrunde si in living macar putin), ca întra și ti-l oprește. Și...cel mai mare inconvenient : căldura din living/bucatarie si din baie. Afara 38-40 de grade, inauntru...cred ca mai mult. Ventilatorul (primul pe care ni l-a adus nu functiona) era destul de vechi, cred, nu prea făcea rece, iar după 3-4 întreruperi de curent in oras, din cauza caldurii mari, a făcut zgomote ciudate, ceea ce ne-a determinat sa-l scoatem din priza, de teama sa nu se strice sau sa ia foc. In baie nu era nicio aerisire, geamul deschizandu-se foarte putin. Intre dormitor si living...o usa care se deschide foarte putin, recele de la aerul conditionat din dormitor neputand sa treaca si in living. Se poate spune ca am făcut sauna gratuit...ceea ce a fost extrem de inconfortabil, mai ales pentru copilul nostru care a dormit in living(e adolescent, prefera sa doarma separat de noi). Un alt aspect neplacut ...nu schimba prosoapele (noi am stat 6 zile). Poate fi o cazare acceptabila, dacă se fac unele amendamente pe acolo, altfel...nu recomandam pe timp de vara/canicula.

Värdarna var mycket trevliga och hjälpsamma. Vi fick hyra deras bil i ett par dagar för bara 25 euro per dag. Det var väldigt prisvärt, jämfört med vad alla andra erbjuder från nästan 200 euro per dag. Men de var trevliga, samt att om vi bad om något så skriv vi till de på WhatsApp och bad om till exempel en dammsugare och snabbt och utan tvekan fick vi en dammsugare.

Ja, det som inte var så bra är att badrumsgolvet har en ganska dålig konstruktion. Men ändå var alla nöjda med semesterbesöket hos Vjollcas home.
