Perfect Location, Perfect Hostess.

It’s perfect for walking into Hermanus town, about 5 minutes. The accommodation is great everything you need is there. The host Roz is second to none, such a wonderful person I didn’t want to leave. We intend to go back in 27 and stay for longer as two nights wasn’t enough in this little haven. Anyone from the UK reading this, that has a town full of nothing only charity shops this is the place to go charming little town and charming hostess. The Whales would be a bonus. 💕

Wonderful place to stay, with everything one's needs. Very quiet and comfortable. Nice little kitchen, good tv. The location is just great, nearby the town center (10min walk), and 2 streets away from the marvelous cliff path. It is good to have a parking spot protected inside the property however it is difficult to manipulate the vehicle as it is a very tight entrance. Rose was very welcoming and friendly and explained everything, with local tips. Highly recommended place.

Fijne en rustige plek, alles voorhanden om even 'bij te tanken'... Dank je wel Rose!

Wij kwamen, heel benieuwd, naar Hermanus. De plaats viel ons reuze mee. Wij zochten een plek waar we, na ongeveer 2 weken onderweg, even thuis konden komen, helemaal 'op ons gemak' konden zijn. Als bij toeval vond ik Rose Cottage, een kleine achterbouw, rustig gelegen, met ALLES erop en eraan. Zelfs een goede wasmachine (met wasmiddel, droogrekjes, wasknijpers ...) Op klein 10 minuten wandelen ben je in het centrum van Hermanus. Het wandelpad over de klippen, dat langs de oceaan loopt, is vlakbij. En die wandelingen zijn zeker de moeite waard! Hermanus is heel toeristisch maar toch niet te druk (in de weekenden wél heel populair), een leuke plek met veel restaurantjes, winkels, enkele kleinere musea, voor elk wat wils. En altijd was onze vriendelijke, grappige host daar. Rose, een toffe engelse dame die al langer in Zuid-Afrika woont dan ze in London gewoond heeft. Ontvankelijk én onbevangen. Nooit opdringerig, altijd klaar voor een grapje, een babbeltje... Ze kan je, als je erom vraagt, veel goede tips en info geven. 't Waren enkele super leuke dagen, heel ontspannend en vrij.
