Very lovely cottage and welcoming garden. Nice attention to detail. Very pleasant that there were heaters working on arrival to give us a cosy atmosphere. No contact with the owners until 18.40 in the evening after arriving at 16.00? Very central. The noise others complain about from the Checkers shopping center is as far as we are concerned minimal and doesn't take away from the location and being so central. Just remember that Hermanus does not wake up before 9am - 10am :-)

Minimal, but coffee cups are sooooooo small that I needed 3 coffees to wake up :-( We took our own Nespresso machine and capsules.

The Windsong cottage is a beaultiful place. Very comfortable and ideally located nearby town center. The facilities ar great and the host very kind. I would happily stay there again.

It's a small thing but we missed a shampoo in the room.

We enjoyed our stay, until the power went. The hosts were very attentive to every detail.

There was no breakfast provided. Not surprising, since that was the deal!

If the property had solar backup we would not have spent our last night freezing and in the dark. There was a power outage in the greater area.

Great cottage for whale watching in Hermanus

A lovely cottage, well equipped and protected near the Waterfront. Two separate bedrooms with bathrooms for each, also a nice outside space. Very friendly and responsive hosts. Supermarkets nearby.

Comfortable stay close to everything in a beautiful town!

Perfect spot to stay! It was a quick 2 block walk down to the center of restaurants and shops. This was a nicely decorated little house with all you need for cooking and a comfortable stay.

It was a little dark inside because of extra security doors and window coverings.

Fun and relaxing, exquisite

The ambience felt comfy, and welcoming. Everything was secure, I could sleep well at night knowing that everything was well-locked, even though it is near Hermanus city centre.

Really comfortable affordable convenient accommodation. A home from home

Superb safe location. Did not need to use the car whilst there. Could walk to shops, beach, marine pool and restaurants. Best equipped self catering unit we have ever stayed in. Comfortable beds, beautiful outside braai area. Very well equipped kitchen (even the knives were sharp) Thank you for a wonderful week's accommodation. We will be back.

The place was spotless, had everything we needed. Now it needs a woodfired hot tub in the back yard to make it perfect 10/10😅😊. No regrets at all

Nothing to fault the place. Caution: Place close to mall a bit of noisy between 7-9am due to deliveries but by the 2nd day you get used to it and sleep right through.. We'll thst was me😅

A beautiful place to spend several days in this marvelous location.

The location was excellent and the furnishings and decorations tasteful. Spacious enough for an extended stay. Useful to have a dishwasher and washing machine. Any requests were promptly dealt with.

The house is a little dark but this may be good during hot summers. I was concerned about the parking being on the street but did not have any problems.

Perfect spot. Location was great. Extra little touches made it extra special.

The only thing was that it was pretty noisy in the one bedroom as it is on the Checkers Loading Bay side. But the hosts do make you aware of it in advance. Not a deal breaker. Will still be back and stay again.

Very comfortable stay, The place was very clean, comfortable and central. I would stay again if travelling to Hermanus.

The site I booked on did not include the cleaning fee, so suggest that gets added to all booking sites so people are aware. The cleaning fee seemed a little high for 1 night stay.

Home away from home

Everything. Comfy couch, comfy bed, good shower, nice kitchen. Walking distance from everything. Wish the weather was better so we could utilise the lovely outside entertainment area. Definitely will stay here again if ever visiting Hermanus.

It was a great location, but is unfortunately situated at the loading bay of the shopping mall. Wasn't a big problem with noise, as we were in the room furtherest away.
