Stunning location, right on the steam railway line station at Ropley. Close to the lovely town of Alresford and the city of Winchester which are both beautiful.

Lovely location and spacious lodge.
The smoke alarm was dodgy and constantly woke us up in the middle of the night it would go off for hours and was unable to switch it off. The kitchen had a lack of cooking pans and trays which made it hard to cook anything. We opened the bbq to find it was mouldy and had not me cleaned and this was the same for all of them. We woke up a couple of mornings to find large amounts of ants on the floor that had crawled under the door. The lodge was clean from a far eye but when you actually look close table tops were dusty bed side draws were dirty and bed sheets had marks on them.
