The kitchen, dining and lounge areas were excellent. The rest of the facility was very disappointing
Kitchen was clean and functional with all necessary utensils, crockery and appliances, eg. Toaster, electric jug etc.
The beds in the twin room with 2 single beds were very uncomfortable. The description of the property was misleading in that it stated the main bedroom had a private “bathroom”, implying a shower or bath. It was only a toilet and handbasin. With 4 of us staying, we would probably not have booked this house knowing that it only had one bathroom. The description of the property didn’t not allude to the fact that it was three levels or that the shower was over the bath. One of our group has mobility issues. Climbing narrow and steep stairs was quite a challenge for him. As was using the shower. And the shower … the pressure was appalling. The water barely dribbled out of the shower head! The WORST shower I have ever encountered!!!! Parking was a nightmare. The garage door was lower than normal so couldn’t be used for our vehicle. Parking in front of the garage obstructed the neighbour exiting his garage. And there was no street parking.
