We were doing some family research in the Falkirk area and booked 3 nights at the Orchard. Can’t say enough about this b and b/pub/restaurant.
The rooms were bright and comfy. The service from all members of their staff went above and beyond. David, Zoe, Emma, chef John etc, excelled on all levels of service and we will definitely return.The food was outstanding!! Yummy full Scottish breakfasts. Must try the chicken satay, steak pie and southern fried chicken breasts. I’m certain that everything else is delicious.
Cozy little bar, with numerous amenities such as groceries, pet store, etc a short 10 minute walk away. Free parking in back.
Lovely patio out front.
Sooo pet friendly, yet the restaurant still remains off limits for people who are not comfortable with our fur families.
Overall one of our favourite places!!

Location, Staff & food were excellent
One of the triple rooms did not have a toilet in the room you had to leave the room and go next door for the bathroom, 2 triple rooms were booked both cost the same yet one did not have a toilet in the actual room, not good for a woman coming out into a corridor used by other guests for the toilet
