Desafortunado

La piscina muy buena

Mi estancia de dos noches en este hotel fue muy decepcionante. Al llegar, no pudieron cobrarme con mi tarjeta local, por lo que tuve que pagar todo en efectivo (luego la usé en otro lugar y todo bien). La habitación que nos dieron no correspondía a lo que reservé (reservé un bungaló con 1 cama doble y nos dieron una habitación con dos camas individuales)éramos solo mi esposo y yo. El recepcionista fue descortés y no ofreció soluciones. Además, la limpieza dejaba mucho que desear: pelos en las paredes y en la puerta, papel higiénico usado y ducha rota. Una de las camas estaba llena de hormigas, informe sobre esto y para que me limpiaran. No hicieron nada. Lo único positivo fue la piscina, que es bonita y está bien cuidada. Por lo demás, mi experiencia fue muy mala y no volvería.

La ubicación del hotel es muy céntrica y la piscina están muy bien. El personal es bastante majo y trata de ayudarte.

Las habitaciones del hotel están un poco viejas y cascadas y la limpieza no es muy buena.

Junges sympathisches Team und ein gemütliches und lockeres Ambiente! In der Nähe gibt es alles , was man braucht- Shops, Bäcker, Restaurants, Wechselstuben usw.

Wenn man zum Strand will, muß man über eine Straße, die fast unmöglich zu überqueren ist.. Wer nicht mehr der Schnellste und Sicherste ist, der hat schlechte Karten. Besonders tagsüber ist der Verkehr so stark, daß man kaum eine Chance hat, rüberzukommen.

El hotel está muy bonito, los jardines muy lindos , la piscina también . El concepto de cabañitas . Excelente !

Me gusto la naturaleza que rodea el lugar y el restaurante aunque un poco elevados los precios.

Cuando llegamos no habia nadie para recibirnos, solo el seguridad de nacionaidad haitiana y hablaba muy poco español, tuvimos que ir a despertar la recepcionista...lo cual era tarde y andaba con mis niños... Subimos arriba y la recepcionista nisiquiera reviso la reserva de la habitacion que elegimos y nos dieron otra diferente y nos dijo que las demas estaban inundadas por la lluvoa, luego de que ya estabamos instalado regresó y nos llevo a la habitacion von balcon que habiamos agendado...totalmente perdida! Otro punto fue al momento de pago, me cobraron un monto muy superior al que me dió booking y no hubo con quien reclamar, la chica parecia perdida y ni idea de cual era el precio real por eso no recomiendo el lugar. Muy poca organizacion y no tienen personas con conocimientos reales.

Great stay at a great price

The property is in the middle of renovations and is seriously upgraded from what it was a couple years ago. they have the main reception and restaurant done and about a third of the rooms near the pool. I wandered back into the area they are still working on. when it is done it will be quite nice. as is the section that they have open is nice and a bargain at least for now. 2 blocks to beach access. it dosent come with breakfast which is what we wanted because the best pastry shop on the north coast is half a block away, belgium bakery plus it has air conditioning

It would have been nice if they had a parking lot. If you are taking a taxi from the airport and want to be able to walk to restaurants and the beach without haveing to deal with dominican traffic this is perfect.

The Kaoba has been totally renovated.

The Kaoba has been totally renovated. The former owner sold the hotel to some people who now really care about the facilities and the service. The difference is very noticeable. The rooms are now cleaner, total change of the rooms, the bathrooms and the pool area. The staff very attentive and also renovated. And the same price continues. I will definitely be back.

when you enter the reception the first since you notice it’s a strong stench of dogs, just unbearable. The owner’s got like 5 dogs (very smelly) just hanging in the lobby. I always hurried to my room every time I had to pass reception.

Lobby is very smelly (dogs) and it’s not the cleanest place overall. It’s great that the owner looks after the injured dogs, though. The bungalow was clean, however, so this was fine for me. Sometimes the reception is not staffed, so the owner needs to be contacted via WhatsApp, if you need anything.

Central hotel with room for improvement

Quite big room with a lovely view from the balcony on a river. Overall it was clean and the room also had a kitchen area with basic equipment. There are some dogs running around the property but they are all calm, very sweet and not bothering the guests.

Service was a little bit chaotic. We had to wait for hours to get the key card to our room as the manager doesn’t seem to be around that much. To overcome the waiting time, the room key cards and the general access cards are just left at the reception and therefore accessible to everyone entering the hotel which gave us a little bit of a security concern.

Good location. Room was in back so fairly quiet. Balcony overlooking river and nature. Nice pool. Good staff.

The manager or owner was apparently a true dog lover as there were about 8-9 dogs around. Unfortunately some were older so the lobby smelled like a kennel. Not a good first impression.
