On the way to Xmas markets

Staff and their efforts to help with any questions you have. Also location of the hotel with bus stop just few meters from hotel door . Parking is free so you can leave your car and take public transport to Achen (we were visiting Xmas markets).. Rooms need upgrade and so do beds but it was good for 2 nights.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and approachable. The food was delicious. The room was clean and beds were very comfortable.

In the rooms there was no refrigerator or water cattle. It wasn’t a big deal because the staff allowed us to store our food in their cooler. The staff were so friendly and helpful that they helped us out.

Great option on Maastricht outskirts

Really liked the traditional feel to this hotel. Good old-fashioned service with attention and a flourish. We had a good sized room and modern bathroom. Location is great for Maastrict: a bus into town allows you to experience all the bustle of the tourist but you can return to peace in the evenings. Good places to eat and drink nearby and the hotel's own restaurant is great (closed Sundays) Plenty of free parking.

If you want a quieter night's sleep, ask for a room at the back. The hotel is on a road and there will be traffic noise. Lovely buffet breakfast, unusually, no toaster.

Great place to stay in Maastricht, outside the city but you can catch the busses into the town.

The rooms were very comfortable, we chose to stay at the back of the building which is not on the main road. It was very comfortable and enjoyed the restaurant food downstairs for dinner which was very delicious.

Beautiful hotel in the outskirts of Maastricht. Would recommend staying here.

Lovely location outside of the city in a lovely old building. Can catch the bus from the city center to near the hotel. Nice restaurant downstairs where you can have a very nice dinner. Great stay and very friendly, helpful staff.

I enjoyed the Historical mood of the establishment, the comparable dining experience. Plush outdoor seating. The servers were bilingual and enormously friendly to a foreigner.

Nice small hotel. Comfortable rooms, although not sound proof, since it's an old building. The people next door were so loud, we were woken up several times during the last night of our stay. Breakfast was good. Great location, 10 minutes drive to the city center.

Superb

At the first view the hotel looks somewhat old fashioned ( the restaurant makes you think at Tirol :)), but it is a good, non nonssens hotel, which is well situated on about 3 kms from Maastricht city. You get value for your money. The location of the hotel offers a good starting point for bicycle tours. There is secured bicycle storage garage. The Comfort room was best OK and the bathroom comfortable and very clean. Very good service. The personnel is very friendly, helpful and client oriented. The food on the menu was just excellent and tasteful ( a very good chef) and the breakfast was very good. I would go there again without hesitation.

There was a kind of fish smell when you enter the room. This is apparently caused by construction work nextdoors. The hotel is located alongside the busy road to Aachen. Considering the room was at the backside of the hotel, there was no problem of noise in the room, even with the window open. Sitting in the garden for a beer, the noise of the cars on the road was sometimes ennoying. But even with this remarks, it remains a good hotel.

Clean and comfortable stay

Newly renovated /modern en suite bathroom. Shower was great. TV in the room was a smart TV and very uncomplicated which was nice. Everything was clean. Bed was comfortable.

All the sound from the restaurant could be heard in our room including the loud music. Coffee at breakfast needs some work. It would be nice to have a tea/coffee station in the room.

The room was quiet with plenty of view and fresh air, clean and tidy hotel. Never sleep well in a hotel, but here I had no problem of dozing off and waking refreshed. Very friendly and helpful staff, breakfast with freshly baked bread and good croissants. Bargain for the value!

Really comfortable bed and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was excellent and amazing value for money. The hotel was located around 8 minutes out of the city so very quiet at night but within easy reach of beautiful Maastricht

Comfortable, with very friendly staff.

Very friendly staff, very comfortable beds, enough parking space, nice beers and a reasonable breakfast. The room was huge with a good shower and it was also comfortably fresh in the room. The dinner choice was not spectacular but adequate for a hungry bunch that had been outdoors all day.
