Ortigia Casa Fab

We stayed four nights in the Sandstone Apartment at Casa Fab and it was the perfect base for a visit to Ortigia. The location was right in the centre, where there are picturesque streets to explore around every corner, with plenty of places to stop along the way for a cappuccino or a cocktail! The apartment was situated up a small ancient staircase and was a very airy space with high ceilings and even on the hottest day felt quite cool even before the air con kicked in. As well as looking even better than the photos it is well equipped and very comfortable. Fabio was extremely helpful with instructions from how to enter the apartment to explaining how everything worked and also some great tips on where to eat. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Ortigia, look no further!

I loved the location and the super-stylish furnishings, as well as appreciating the apartment was immaculately clean and Fabio as host was exceptionally good at communicating and proactively helping, without overstepping.

Immaculate property in a beautiful building

We stayed for 7 nights. The apartment is in a great location, very close to the Piazza Archimede (Fountain of Diana) and all the shops, restaurants and cafes. Across the street is a market that has everything you need for your stay. The apartment itself was comfortable and Fabio was very friendly and provided great recommendations for dining, pizza, pasticcerie, street food, cocktails etc. He was a wonderful host, always available for everything and anything we needed. I was not well during our stay and he was kind and compassionate to check in on me. Please note, if you have difficulties walking it does have very ancient uneven steps to get to the apartment. There is also a sign requesting not to drag your luggage on them as they are deteriorating, therefore you will need to carry it. If the luggage issue will be a problem, notify Fabio and he will have an absolutely wonderful young man named Buba who will take your luggage up upon check-in and down upon check out so do not hesitate to book this apartment. Fabio has you covered. It was a pleasure staying in the apartment and would highly recommend. Thank you Fabio and thank you Buba.
