It's not what you expect, it's better. Nice and quiet room, awesome garden and nice neighborhood. The hotel also has a huge entertainment room with games and stuff. The best thing is the owner that organized various dinners with the guests with a lot of food, wine and good stories. Feels like home, a great one.
The first day wifi did not work but then the owner rebooted the router and then it was fine.

Everything was great. The host was very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.
I hadn't quite realised how far the property was from the centre of Paris. However, we got used to it and it was not a hardship getting a bus to the station and a train to the centre. In fact the house is in a very quiet area and it became an oasis of peace which we really appreciated and looked forward to after spending the days in the bustle of the city centre.
