Property was close to the main attractions. Main shared living area was modern and comfortable

Room was very small with the double bed against the wall. The stairs were steep to get your suitcase up

Excellent location with easy access to the castle, shopping, public transport etc. as well as Eton and riverside cafes. We were able to drop our bags off earlier than check in which was useful. The communal social room was good, and the property well presented. There was a lot to like, but we wouldn’t return to the same room, or during the summer months.

I know you can’t plan for the weather, but it was very hot the days we stayed and although there was a fan in the room, it was very uncomfortable. Also, we didn’t realise how steep the stairs to our first floor room were, and lugging two heavy bags up a narrow steep set of stairs wasn’t the best. Always check the photos of your room, we booked the double room, which was quite small, and the bed was hard up against the wall which we really don’t like. The bedding was far too big for the bed (folded duvet) and it was hard trying to work out where to put all the excess cushions and pillows, and the unnecessary duvet.

Great location and facilities

Unfortunately coincided with the heat wave - while not the fault of the owners, the lack of air conditioning was not great

The property is in the perfect location for a visit to restaurants, the castle, and shopping. It was clean, easy to access, and very comfortable.

No air conditioning. We just happened to be there on some extremely hot days, and air conditioning would have been nice. The outside patio really helped with this, though.
