Lisbon Five Stars Apartments 8 Building

The property could not be in a better location. It is right on a beautiful garden square and next to Time Out Market which is such a blessing when you are traveling with kids who are picky eaters. We picked meals from 4 different countries and all the children were delighted. The property itself is spacious, clean, and has a quiet interior courtyard to grab a coffee and read the Times. Pedro, our concierge, was fabulous. He gave us all the best information and pointed us to a restaurant for dinner that was delicious and also family-friendly.

Slightly better pillows would have been nice, but not a deal breaker.

The location was great. The staff too. Clean and big. Breakfast came in a box and it was a nice surprise.

Little different from the pictures. The furniture little too over used. Bed headboard in terrible condition..

Nice flat. Clean and spacious. Worked well for our family. It is in close proximity to the Time Out Market and many nice places to dine. Easy to collect the property keys. Concierge staff was super nice and friendly. The check in/out experience was quite easy.

When we arrived, the way to the concierge is not so clearly marked. The pleasant ladies at the desk texted to suggest to go to the patio, but which patio was not totally clear and this is actually a patio area in the open inner square of the building. The weirdest thing here was we got stuck in the elevator heading to the 4th floor. This really wasn't for very long, but was a bit disconcerting after a lot of travel during the day. We called down and apparently staff were fixing the problem, but the elevator ended up only taking us to the 3rd floor then. It only happened the one time. It is a bit noisy at night as it is directly across the road from the Time Out market and so there were people arguing on the street most of the night. I happen to be a deep sleeper but for my spouse and kids this was a bit of an issue. The bathroom is a bit dark at night, especially by the shower. The bathroom really is nice but this was a bit of a strange thing considering how nice the design of the place is. The lights overtop of the dining room table are a bit oddly placed, I bumped my head and had to be aware of these when walking around the table; I am only 5'10". Maybe this was just me but in one of the bedrooms nearest the front door I could not get the lights to turn out. No idea why this is the case. I had to literally unscrew the bulbs to be able to sleep in the bedroom. The bed was a bit stiff in here.
