Apartment Danubius

The studio is right next to the Danube riverbank, and there are a huge number of restaurants and bars on the street. The hosts had also arranged a parking space, which is a real treasure in that area. Our stay was short, so it is hard to form a full impression after just one night, but overall, we liked the room—it had everything necessary! And I really mean everything you could possibly think of. The architecture was impressive, and the third bed (the child’s bed) was on a second level, reached by a small staircase. Generally speaking, it’s just great for a short stay, and I definitely recommend it.

The bathroom might be a bit small if you are planning a longer stay.

I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a budget friendly, neat place in Belgrad. Staff is friendly, apartment is cosy, breakfasts are tasty!

The bathroom is a bit old fashioned and if you rent it during the weekend, maybe use some earplugs as it’s close to really amazing pubs (which might be too loud).

The only sockets available were an extension cord next to the TV that doesn't really look safe 😔 We unplug the TV and we use that to charge the phone, for the kettle, for the hairdryer... Luckily we didn't need it to do anything else. Probably the apartment needs some maintenance, but it meets the basic needs I have for a trip like this. Comments by my friend: no outlets next to the bed, no easy way to turn on all the lights, so the room would be dark mostly, no ways to hang up towels in the bathroom which is really small. The site mentioned complimentary slippers which were not there, take with you your own.

The people we met there (both for check-in/check-out and at the restaurant for breakfast) were very nice and smiling. The breakfast was very good (included in the room price).

The cleanliness in the room was disappointing. The wireless network did not work in the room (signal was missing), only in the restaurant area.
