Riad Haj Thami

The location was great. It’s around 15 minutes away from the main square. The host, Ali is a very friendly and helpful person.

I really recommend this place. The owner, Ali, is very nice and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are tasty made with local, fresh ingredients. The place is located in the historical medina what is the additional value of this location.

The bathroom is quite small, but at least it’s private and very clean, which isn’t always the case in this city.

There is a reason this is one of the highest rated riads you can find for this price - it is absolutely gorgeous!! The host Ali is incredibly kind and helpful, and always just a message away; the other ladies who work there are so sweet and smiley; the rooms are a decent size with plenty of cupboard and storage space; the breakfast is prepared fresh for you every morning (they check when you wake up where you would like to eat as there are different areas and a rooftop terrace). The riad also has a few cats (and kittens during our stay) which for us made it all even better! Just as an extra note - we had no problems with hot water, wifi or aircon, everything worked perfectly.

Its not that I didnt like this, but as with many riads in Morocco be aware that the streets can be a bit of a labyrinth so in the beginning you might get lost - just message Ali and he will help you.

Our host Ali and his staff were the highlight of our stay. The Riad is well kept & welcoming set over 2 floors + a roof terrace. Our room didn't have an outside window, but it did have a working AC unit so we used this. A great & varied breakfast was served each morning with various fruits, pastries, omelette + coffee, milk & fresh orange juice. Very good value for money & most accommodating staff.

No natural ventilation in the room & bathroom sink was pretty small & some occasional thumping noises we could hear evening time as well. All was well other than this.
