On the positive side, the tagine was very tasty, the air conditioning worked well, and the gentleman serving us was kind and friendly.

The location shown on the map does not match the actual location of the hotel. You have to walk down a dark side alley to find it. If a street vendor hadn't guided us there for a small tip, I'm not sure we would have found the hotel at all. We had booked two triple rooms but were given only one. The second room was a tiny double room where the toilet was only about 40 cm (16 inches) from the bed, separated only by a curtain instead of a door. When I firmly complained, we were told that nothing could be changed for the first night, but they would move us for the following two nights. As compensation, we were promised dinner. However, it gradually became clear that we couldn't order from the menu. Instead, we were told we could have only one dish, and they weren't even sure what ingredients they would be able to buy at the market. In the end, we received a single tagine, which was nowhere near enough to feed our entire family. We had to go to the main square, which is relatively close, to finish our dinner. Breakfast is normally served from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. Since we had an early departure, we asked for breakfast or a takeaway package at 6:30 a.m. on our last morning. Even though we were on the rooftop on time, breakfast wasn't served until 6:45 a.m. The Wi-Fi was unreliable and kept disconnecting. One of the rooms also had a strong sewage smell coming from the drains.

The Riad is based in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle but still easy walking distance to the Jmaa el Fna area. Lovely rooftop area, nice and cosy. Liked the colours and the original features of the Riad.

The room wasn't what I expected. Our initial room was tiny (not deluxe at all as stated when we booked it). The staff however was friendly and helpful and we were able to swap with another room. Unfortunately that room had a damp and mould issue. The bathroom was very damp (and mould in areas). As we had a short stay there we did not request a move to another room as it was manageable.

Beautiful Riad, located centrally in the medina of Marrakech. Host Souleymane took great care of us and made our stay very pleasant. The breakfast was excellent and on the top floors of the Riad with cute tables. We will definitely back!

The rooftop and the location were really amazing.

The put us in the room downstairs and it was really musty and damp. What was not so nice is that my friend heard animal noises the whole night (must have been something like a mouse or rat)
