The room with a fantastic view.

Fabienne our host very friendly and helpful. She prepared a delicious breakfast every morning. The location is stunning with fantastic views. We were in the top floor and we had an amazing view. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend it.

A charming and peaceful place with amazing views, delicious breakfast, and a wonderful host.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and well equipped. A highlight was breakfast on the terrace with a stunning view over the hills – fresh baguette, coffee, fruit, and delicious homemade jam from the garden. The location is perfect for exploring Vence, Saint-Paul-de-Vence, Tourrettes-sur-Loup, and other beautiful spots in Provence. Fabienne was always reachable and very attentive – we felt truly well taken care of.

A wonderfully relaxing place to stay

Lovely spacious room with great views. Fabienne was a wonderful host and we loved spending time with the family and other guests. The terrace - where very nice breakfasts were served - is a great social space. We also enjoyed relaxing by the pool after a day of sightseeing. The property is very well located and there is lots to do in the area.

Incredible views, very comfortable room and great hosts!

What a great place to stay! Hidden in the mountains in a great location close to Saint Paul de Vence, the property was fantastic, the staff/owners incredibly welcoming and friendly and the views are spectacular! The pool was wonderful, parking onsite a huge bonus, the room was very large for a riviera property and the bed was very comfortable. I stay in many hotels on the rivera for work on an ongoing basis, and I will absolutely be staying here again many times in the future!

Absolutely gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains, spacious rooms, excellent breakfast of pastries, breads, cheeses, and homemade jams, and wonderful hosts.

The stairs to some of the rooms could be challenging for some customers.

First off all we love Fabienne ❤ the hoset her partner sacah and sander the dog . Our stay at the place was one off the best places that we have stays during our vections the hoset give us the best and kind services that is possible we really recommend to all that want a wonderful vection to be at this place and hoset.

A fantastic place

Everything was perfect. Fabienne was a wonderful hostess and went out of her way to serve us. She made a beautiful breakfast with fresh fruit and home made jam. The rooms are big and nicely decorated. The pool is clean and refreshing. The property is beautifully situated, quiet and there are a lot of places to sit in the sun or shade.

The most peaceful and perfect honeymoon destination!

Au Pied Des Baous is so wonderful! It is conveniently located near historical hot spots, downtown Vence, museums, and more! You can visit Grasse, Gourdon, and Cannes in just one day. We loved that we could always come back to such a peaceful place. Breakfast was delightful! Fabienne prepared her very own marmalade and breads. She also provided a basket of local pastries and prepared fruit every morning. The room and property were clean and welcoming. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts! We would highly recommend Fabienne and Sacha’s hospitality.

I've always stayed in hotels & even though this is kind of a hotel but more so a B&B, the experience was so much better. The location is stunning. And the couple who own it are extremely lovely & welcoming. If you're thinking of booking, just do it.

Hostess (Fabienne) was so hospitable and she made delicious lemon marmalade. It was a pleasure to come to the terrace in the morning for a very good breakfast not to mention unbeatable views. Fabienne always found time to chat and give helpful advice for what to see in the surroundings and she has a lovely dog! The room was tastefully furnished and exceeded our expectations.

Heerlijke plek om te verblijven

Heel vriendelijk ontvangen door de gastvrouw Fabienne. Hele mooie locatie in het achterland van Nice bij het mooie historische plaatsje Vence. Mooie kamer, zeer schoon, goed bed, mooi terras, goede douche. Fijn zwembad. En elke ochtend een heerlijk ontbijt met mooi uitzicht. Echt een plek om iedereen aan te bevelen.

Séjour reposant au cœur d’une belle nature

La situation extrêmement calme juste à quelques kilomètres de la ville de Vence avec vue magnifique sur les baous et personnel très accueillant

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour chez Fabienne.

La maison d’hôtes est très charmante avec ses pierres et son emplacement au pied du baou. La chambre double avec balcon est très propre, bien équipée, la literie est très confortable et elle offre une magnifique vue apaisante. L’accueil et la gentillesse de Fabienne.

Le petit bémol pour moi a été le petit déjeuner. Il pourrait être facilement amélioré en proposant notamment des pains spéciaux, des œufs durs ou brouillés, du jambon blanc de qualité, du fromage blanc ou skyr, du lait d’amande par exemple, en proposant du jus d’orange pressé et des saveurs de thé variées et de qualité. Après avoir lu tous les commentaires avant mon arrivée, je m’attendais à goûter la confiture de citron qui semblait excellente mais je n’ai pas eu cette chance.

Sehr erholsamer und schöner Aufenthalt in einem ganz tollen B&B

Sehr schönes und großzügiges Zimmer, dass mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und ausgestattet ist. Das gesamte B&B war sehr gemütlich und ist schön ruhig und erholsam gelegen. Die Aussicht war sehr schön. Leckeres Frühstück mit frischen landestypischen Produkten. Sehr sympathische und freundliche Gastgeber. Sehr gute Ausgangslage für Unternehmungen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden es jederzeit wieder buchen.

sehr schöne Lage. Wir hatten Zimmer im 2. OG mit sehr schöner Aussicht und Balkon. Zimmer schön im Stil der Provence eingerichtet. Mit 50 qm auch angenehm groß. Gute Betten. Sehr angenehme Gastgeber, sets freundlich. Gutes Frühstück. Parkplätze im Hof beim Haus.

Tolle Unterkunft- Tolle Lage

Fabienne war eine tolle Gastgeberin. Sie war sehr bemüht und sehr freundlich und hatte tolle Tipps. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker. Die Lage ist toll abseits vom Trubel umgeben von netten kleinen Örtchen. Trotzdem tolle Lage um an Strände zu fahren oder grössere Städte anzuschauen.

Eine Oase der Erholung

Wir waren 4 Tage im Au Pied des Baous. Sascha und Fabienne waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Beide sprechen gut Deutsch das in Frankreich aös Deutsche sehr hilfreich ist. Für Tagesausflüge nach Nizza und Antibes und Cannes gut geeignet alles in 1 Std. mit den Auto erreichbar. Das Frühstück war jeden Tag von Fabienne mit Unterschiedlichen frischen Obstsalaten und Säften sehr Abwechslungsreich. Das Ankommen war ein bißchen Tricky aber das war uns bekannt Das es nur Enge Trassen dort hin gibt und abgeschieden und Ruhig dort ist. Das war unser Plan. Pool ist Top ist für 7 Besucher ausreichend.

Es war alles nach unserer Zufriedenheit.
