Superb apartment very spacious Excellent roof terrace with great views

It was noisy at night because you are so near quatro canti so not ideal if you want an early night

The apartment is as gorgeous as described if not nicer plus it has really pretty artwork everywhere and very atmospheric furniture. It feels just like out of the White Lotus Season 2. Location was perfect. The rooftop and the sight from it is spectacular. The contact with Annalisa was very easy and comforting.

I have to add that if someone is absolutely frightened of cockroaches as I am this might not be the place. It might have been just a bad coincidence but we had to kill one. Annalisa assured me it hasn’t happened before but as the windows aren’t as tightly shut, this is something I would look out for the next time. Since we decided immediately to get a new place for the rest of the stay without informing our host and didn’t make a photo of prove we didn’t get any money back and paid double for our whole stay. Unfortunate. I would also add to not rely on the kitchen upstairs, it didn’t seem super usable to us. The fridge was broken and there was old water standing in it. Not really a problem though since there is a working fridge downstairs in the apartment. All in all a very luxurious place that takes some short cuts when it comes to kitchen appliances, linens and towels etc.

The location was perfect! RIght in the middle of Quattro Canti. The views were spectacular! The best views in Palermo! We loved the outdoor spaces. The apartment was beautifully furnished - it was like staying in a palace! In addition to the upper level patios, the main level had many doors opening onto balconies overlooking Quatro Canti, the cathedral and the street below. The furniture was comfortable and we had more than enough room to spread out. The hostess/owner was extremely friendly and helpful, and responded quickly to any question we had. Just a perfect apartment!

While it did not affect our stay at all, it was unusual to have the bathroom located outside of the apartment, in the shared hallway (only share with one other apartment). It was never a problem as the person in the other apartment was rarely there. Tt was just different to have to access the bathroom from a shared hallway (the bathroom was private only to our apartment). It was fine and it worked out but it was not anything we have ever seen. To be expected in an ancient historic building! We would absoletly stay there again if we ever return to Palermo so please know it is not an issue or a probelm at all, just something to be aware of.

Centrally located, grand chandelier and beautiful old floor tiles. Great roof top terrace!

The central location meant it was very noisy wit(h late night buskers in the square below- we left a day early because of this. And although spacious the antique furniture meant that it’s wasn’t really comfortable to use the space. The kitchen was very limited and up on the terrace- ok for a 2 or 3 days, but not easy for a week. Adding some simple kitchen equipment- eg a toaster, more cooking tools would help. Also making some of the space a bit more user friendly - even setting a small eating space downstairs would be very nice.
