About this villa rental
Maritina Villa is located in the village Xirokampi just 20km out of the city of Chania and 4km from the long pebbly beach of Maleme. It is a beautiful furnished traditional Cretan villa made of stone and wood, surrounded by olive trees. Xirokampi is a hill village and offers a breathtaking view of the north coast of Chania Prefecture.
The villa is 140 sq.m, built on a private property of 1000 sq.m. Spend your day swimming in the private pool (32 sq.m), admiring the view of the glittering waters of the Cretan Sea, lolling back in the hammock or cooking at the barbecue or the traditional stone oven.
The house is built on two levels. At the ground level you will find a traditional decorated living room with a fireplace in one corner, a 6 seats dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and two twin bedrooms. Both bedrooms and the living room have French doors leading to the full of colorful flowers garden. The upper level comprises a bathroom and the master bedroom with a four-poster double bed and a private balcony with panoramic sea and mountain view. On this level you will also find a small veranda with wooden bench and table under the stone - built arch.

The house of Manos was a really good choice for our group.
3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, a huge kitchen, the bbq-area and the different seating areas for every occation.
The pool was always occupied by our kids ... no matter the time. This was an amazing property and we enjoyed every minute on it.
Two small suggestions for an update...mosquito nets before the bedroom windows and new paint around the pool would have been nice.
But nothing on this diminished our time and we would always come back a 2nd, 3rd, 4th time.

We spent a week in this house. Everything was almost perfect... the only problem we had was with the washing machine, but Manos bought a new one at once, and then everything was perfect. Everything we need was in the house. Manos has prepared for us fruits, oil, milk, tea, coffe, orange juice, yoghurts, so whan we arrived we could eat and have time. The landscape is very nice, with olivers all around the villa. In fact, nothing was missing. And of course the house is very nice, well decorated. It was a very pleasant place to stay for all the family, after visiting all day long!

The holiday home is located in a rural environment. It is beautifully furnished and lovely decorated. It was missing anything. By stone walls, it has a special flair. The terrace has a beautiful view of the sea. A car is recommended.
The nice, friendly and helpful landlord family took care of invisible to the weekly service, including fresh fruit, a bottle of wine, raki and olive oil from local production to reception.
We had a wonderful and relaxing holiday and can recommend the Stone House at any time.

We had a wonderful holiday at the Maritina Villa - when we arrived we felt as though we'd stepped into paradise, The sun was shining, the villa was beautiful and the view was stunning.
We have never stayed in a better villa - everything we could have wanted was there and the kitchen facilites were brilliant (we love to cook!).
Manos, the owner, was really hositable, left us some of his own olive oil and home-made wine and various provisions to get us through the first day.
We spent many days taking in the view and enjoying the "away from it all" ambience.....gorgeous!
