It was so close to the underground. Our London experience was better this time around.

The location is great. So close to a few train stations and to Trafalgar Square. The room was no frills but clean and basic.
With the exception of one front desk staff member named Gary (he seemed maybe new) none of The staff were friendly or engaging. They should be greeting guests when they arrive and leave. But most times they were busy talking to each other about work and didn’t make eye contact. Gary on the other hand was friendly and greeted guests but we only encountered him as we checked out. I wish we would have had a tea kettle. And while the room has great noise cancelling from the outside, There also appeared to have a water line that ran through mirror and was incredibly loud. It Sounded like someone was in the shower upstairs all night long. It was strange. Second floor.

No daily room service, no bins were collected, wasn’t that clean on the bedside tables and no storage for clothes
