Club Mahindra Pristine Peaks Naldehra

Excellent location on the top of the hill beyond Mashobra with the view of the hills and pine trees all around. Serene surroundings with ool breeze blowing. It is difficult to assume that this resort would be hot at any time of the year. Room was quite spacious with a small kitchenette and a balcony. Very courteous staff with excellent service. Some activities planned for every day - some free and some paid.

There is nothing to complain about.

I am a frequent traveler and I like properties of good standard, which are not too remote but are away from traffic and noise. They should have some safe areas around for easy strolls. Pleasant natural views from the room and around the property also matter a lot. So I select my holiday stays around these parameters. Club Mahindra at Naldehra met all these expectations and exceeded some. Every member of staff is very well trained, helpful, professional and pleasant at all times. Almost every food item that we tried was very good. A friend recommended their Spa very highly but we did not use it. We stayed in their smallest room, a condo type room with a kitchenette, but even that was very comfortably spacious with beautiful views. I will certainly love to visit this place again soon.

I have a few ideas for improvements. 1. The property has beautiful surroundings but has hardly any sit-out, where one can sit and enjoy the views. I would highly recommend a few metal platforms, which can be jutting out from the existing boundary with safety railing and bolted cast-iron seats at following points. (a) Near archery corner (b) near main gate (c) near the turn in the approach road. 2. The local road below the property is not well maintained. Although it is govt property and at very low priority for the govt, but some effort by the hotel in getting the shrubs along the road trimmed once a month, painting the road side berms white with simple white-wash and spreading seeds of local flowering plants on the road sides will enhance the experience tremendously. I am sure it will enhance Hotel's goodwill with locals also. 3. This property has a very small lawn in its middle. Even that was let out for a reception type event. All the main open areas as well as the main dining hall remained out of bounds for hotel guests during that event. These events might earn a quick buck but spoil the experience of a happy peaceful holiday.

Great location and property. Buffet Food was good. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are decently sized and in good condition. Wifi is decent. Great views of nature

Pan Asian restaurant is very average and not at all staffed well. We had one server running around trying to do her best to service all the tables. Should have more family activities during the late afternoon time for the residents to engage them. Better organization in the restaurant service as it is a bit chaotic and if u order Ala la carte wait times can be quite high
