A spectacular visit in wonderful surroundings

Both Arnaud & Natalie were very warm & welcoming hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Freshly home made cake, jams for an excellent breakfast. The renovations of the period building have been thoughtfully undertaken. Nathlie's eye for detailed attention regarding the design & decor of our pleasant bedroom & exquisite bathroom were truly brilliant! Our hosts were able to provide enjoyable lunchtime picnics, together with assistance in choosing our activities & make reservations at local restaurants. We shall certainly be returning & will be highly recommending LE Manoire to our friends & family.

A great place in a lovely location. Very well restored and with great en-suite facilities.

Warm welcome from very friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely continental breakfast with fresh artisan bread which varied each day. Perfect location in Clécy, halfway up slope between river and village. Selection of good riverside restaurants 5 minutes walk, plus more in village. Easy to get to voie verte (cycling holiday). We were able to store bikes overnight in cellar, which also contained a large refrigerator for guests. The Suisse Normande is a beautiful area and not overrun by tourists like us!

One of our party felt their room (la chappelle) was slightly cold. No TV in rooms, but none of us missed it!

Excellent place to stay!

Lovely village and very helpful and friendly hosts. Really enjoyed their company! They were very tolerant of talkative older guests -us! Room was good, shame the weather didn't allow use of the terrace which had a pretty outlook. Recommendation for restaurants was very good. Excellent breakfast including extremely good bread and preserves. Recommend highly!

Tucked in a most picturesque spot near the village and river in Clecy. Lovely area of garden with chairs, and easy to take some beautiful countryside walks from there. The owner is charming and so helpful in everyway and I fell in love with their gorgeous Labrador Cookie! Breakfast is so generous, home made preserves, home made cakes, pastries, yogurts. Felt very spoilt. A wonderful stay and sad to leave.

Lovely and homely

A really lovely place. Nathalie and Arnaud are such sweethearts, really trying to make you as comfortable as possible. Breakfast is amazing. The room was very cool, even during the heath wave when it was 40 degrees outside. Very spacious bathroom as well. It’s also nice that you can use the large breakfast room during the day to hang out.

It’s an old house so you might hear it when people walk around on the wooden floors, but at night it was very quiet. Other than that I can’t think of anything, we simply had a great time here!

The hosts were very hospitable and helpful with information about places to visit and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious, included many high quality locally made products. Every day there were different breads and pastry. The place was extremely clean and mattress was very comfortable.

Le manoir est un site remarquable, très proche des sentiers de randonnées du GR de Suisse Normande, de centres nautiques, du centre du bourg de Crécy et de guinguettes pour se restaurer agréablement aux bords de l'Orne. L'accueil, la propreté, le calme et le petit déjeuner sont aussi remarquables que le site. Le parking est très bien. Une vraie salle de bain avec de l'espace. Tout est réuni pour réussir un séjour de plusieurs jours.

Wundervolle Gastgeber, sehr schönes Anwesen, jederzeit wieder.

Supergepflegtes Anwesen mit einladendem Garten, in dem man "die Seele baumeln lassen" kann. Liebevolle Dekoration der Zimmer und des Frühstücksraumes. Großzügiges, helles Badezimmer mit Fenster. Hervorragendes Frühstück mit täglich wechselnden selbstgemachten Spezialitäten. Wanderungen sind gleich vom Haus möglich. Ort und Restaurants am Fluss in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Besonders wird die Unterkunft allerdings durch die hinreißenden Vermieter Nathalie und Arnault, die Gastfreundschaft leben und ehrlich und immer bemüht sind, den Aufenthalt ihrer Gäste so schön wie möglich zu gestalten.

Le Manoir is een prachtige accommodatie, in een gerestaureerd landhuis met 5 gastenverblijven. De gastheer en -vrouw, Arnaud en Nathalie, zijn erg vriendelijk en gastvrij. Van hieruit loop je in 5 minuten naar de rivier de Orne, met leuke restaurantjes en gelegenheid om o.a. te kanoën, waterfietsen, klimmen en wandelen. Het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid, Nathalie bakt brood en lekkernijen en maakt zelf jam, heerlijk!
